what are you calling legitimate governments? Just wondering: Israel negotiated with the PLO, then with Fatah- if it comes right down to it- are (were) they more legitimate than Hamas? Since in every news here, where a western goverment ciritizises or says something not in Israels favor the west is accused of anti semitism, facism and idiotism. So I am thinking to myself, what would happen if the west took this accusations seriously and stop all the support for Israel ? No millitary aid an economic ban on all Israeli products. No one would fear the IDF anymore after a while, cause of a lack of spare parts ! The economy will shrink extremly when USA & Europe markets are gone. You know this would be the destruction of the State of Israel. Sometimes I think this is the aim of Israels right.

for your information, in case you didn't know: Switzerland was one of the first countries (outside Israel) to elect a Jewish President- Ruth Dreyfuss... the Swiss Jewish community is not large but thriving. Jews are into banking, have and run big businesses etc..- and this should be of interest: the Ashkenazin, Sephardim and Orthodox are working together- peacefully....because they talk instead of alienating... this is an example of how it should be...
