Iran is controlled by a 'Supreme Leader' who answers only to a council of religious fanatic clerics. They couldn't care less because if they die, they believe they'll be martyrs. 3) How exactly does America plan to 'protect' anyone right now? America's military is already very stretched with Iraq and Afghanistan, and Iran knows it. Even if America did decide to invade Iran, they don't have enough available ground troops to do it. Lets face it - America can't protect anyone from Iran. The only solution is to take military action against Iran and stop their nuclear program by force. We cannot allow the Iranians to succeed where Hitler failed.

How about we just prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, by force if necessary? If Iran doesn't get nuclear weapons, we won't need Clinton's 'nuclear defense umbrella.' A confrontation with Iran is inevitable. Either we can initiate it by taking out their nuclear facilities, or we can wait for Iran to initiate it by launching a nuclear missile towards Tel-Aviv. I don't know about you, but having a bunch of religious fanatics firing off nuclear weapons doesn't sound too good.
