Will that be cause for riots? how about knocking down the temple on the mount and starting world war 3 while we are at it? will it include a Mc Donanlds?

6. irrelevant poll
observer   (07.30.09)
((Ninety-seven percent responded that the Temple was destroyed, while only 2% said they did not know.)) so, how many believe that al-Aqsa was built in place of the temple? how many believe al-Aqsa mosque has to be destroyed? is it the dome of rock or al-Aqsa or both which they believe is the place of the temple? how many have knowledge of the dispute about the temple place? relevant poll has to give clear cut number, not just implication. so, does the poll hint that 97% want al-Aqsa destroyed?
7. From a traditional Jew...
shana ,   israel   (07.30.09)
We need to rebuild. Why is it not practical? Have we forgotten who we are? PLEASE. I think we have. The "dome of the rock" has been occupying our property for too long.
8. It would be the Spark for the 1.5 Billion

9. AS LONG AS I LIVE ! I DONT GIVE PERMISSION FOR THAT.
ATİLLA KARAGÖZOĞLU   (07.30.09)
10. We didn't learned yet
Dr D ,   Jerusalem   (07.30.09)
God is in our mind and should stay that way. Erecting a Temple again will imply electing a supreme religious authority body accepted by all the Jews in the world. Before that will happened Israel must achieve peace with all the nations (and religions), be recognized by all and then unite all the Jews under one set of laws ,the Ten Commandments. When that will happen........
11. to traditional jew
Jim ,   jerusalem   (07.30.09)
Occupying your property ? what property are you talking about ? what kind of proof do you have it was exactly the same place of the dom of the rock , you only picked the place because it will heart muslims and not of a historic proofs , and dont tell me its in your belifes because if i belive in it i would be a jew but sooory , i dont so pick somewhere else and build your temple any whare , just dont try to build it in where you think , really you cant live without making troubles
12. Insufficient survey
Avraham   (07.30.09)
Only a few hundreds included in this survey cannot represent the opinion of majority of the Jews in Israel. Nevertheless, I agree that something should be done (constructed) up there so that the Jewish presence (and its right to be there) be real and palpable. But, it is still only a nice dream ofor majority of the Jews, as alone and without the direct help of Hashem a few millions of Israeli Jew are not able to convince (peacefully or by force) more than a billion of Muslims in the world to leave forever that location

17. The "Temple" will be rebuilt ...
Nour ,   Palestine   (07.30.09)
...when hell freezes over. There is absolutely no way a "Temple" can be rebuilt as it never existed. Nobody can categorically prove it existed anyway. Get real and start dealing with the 21st century and facts TODAY. Forget biblical fantasies.
18. Israel has the 3rd Temple, it is in Dimona
Chanalau, Tova ,   London, UK   (07.30.09)
... and it is about to suffer the same fate as befell the previous two edifices of the same name that disappeared into the sands of Palestine. And we won't miss you.

20. to #17 lol archilogy don't lie, but you oh yeah
ghostq   (07.30.09)
the 2000 years old victory of Titus can explain what he did to the temple it's in Rome http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Sack_of_jerusalem.JPG in other words embrace your self for the third one.

hs ,   copenhagen, denmark   (07.30.09)
… two thirds of Israelis are out of their minds…
24. Rebuild!
Moshino ,   Israel   (07.30.09)
And just as a side note, all my educated secular Ashkenazi Tel Aviv friends think the same. Rebuild it now! And it shall be the biggest of the Seven Wonders of the World!
25. #18 It is possible the Dimona rector will disaear
Daniel ,   San Diego, USA   (07.30.09)
However, it will be much easier to make it reappear than Tehran, which would disapper as well in such a scenario. Be very careful what you wish for. It would be a sad day for humanity and Muslims if Iran sparked and lost a nuclear war. It is interesting, Judaism changed and became more focused on morality after Israel was destroyed. I wonder if the destruction of Iran would have a similar affect on Muslims? Perhaps it could lead to a new ear of world peace?
26. It's good to dream
daniel   (07.30.09)
It means a majority of jews supports the idea that the country is jewish. That is a lot more then what I expected.
27. #22 Truth hurts doesn't it? The "Temple" never existed!!
Nour ,   Palestine   (07.30.09)

widen it out abit.
30. Better feed the starving children than build another temple
Talula ,   Israel   (07.30.09)
It's part of our history. Leave it there. But, if it is rebuilt, does that mean that Tisha B'Av is a null and void holiday or do the religious get another new holiday in honour of the rebuilding?
