31. Shabbos goy
Joseph ,   London England   (08.05.09)
Most Orthodox synagogues in London have a resident non-Jewish caretaker who knows what he can and cannot do on Shabbos and Yom Tov. The same can apply to mainly Jewish blocks of flats. In America and the UK Jews often volunteer to man public services on Christmas Day so Christians can be at home, so it's a bit reciprocal.
32. Nothing new!
Danny ,   London England   (08.05.09)
Why all the hostility? Would Ynet run an article describing all the chillul Shabbat going on in secular circles? We don't attack your right to not keep Shabbat, so why does it bother you if we want to do what has been done for many generations. Do you also object to using an eruv to permit wheelchairs and prams on Shabbat? These are nothing new or controversial.
33. 25 Show me, but you can't

Where the Torah forbids anyone from keeping Shabbat. You must have forgotten that the Torah, it is said was offered to every nation. Logic would have it then, since HaSheim would like all to do t'shuvah that if anyone changed his mind and ways, the Torah would still be open to him also. That is in the Torah.
