3. Real Muslims respect Torah and they believe in it.
Tonight I was attending in an birthday party of grand children of an old friend and he was telling the story of attending in ceremony of taking a new Torah scroll when he was a teenager back in Iran and was wittnessed how the Moslems were opening the way for the Jews taking the Torah and kissing the Torah and the kind of respect they showed to the Torah scroll.
If you take politics out of the relation between Jews and Moslems they won't have any problem with each other and can live in peace.

4. Irving Moskowitz has Alzheimers
News items constantly say that Irving wants this and Irving is doing that, but the fact is, he has severe Alzheimers and isn't capable of doing anything really as he can barely discern who he even is. He is only a figurehead and it is sad that the media is misrepresenting the situation.

5. Nu, az mah? How many copies of the Quran...
are up on Har Habayit? i bet more than one. I am not obaservant but I object to the Torah being consdered contraband anywhere in the Land of Isreal. Especially within yards of the Kotel. That applies even if we concede parts of the Land of Israel to be goverened by Palestinians in a state. Does this imply that one hasto sneak the Quran into the Jewish quarter? What a stink we'd hear if that ever happened.

6. Let me see if I have this right
muslims can build mosques anywhere they want..even DEMAND that the Jewish taxpayers of Israel help pay for them to build and/or renovate mosques that are used to inflame terrorism against us. But if a Jew wishes to put a Torah somewhere, it is forbidden? Interesting concept. 1939 deja vu all over again!

7. I hope Israel doesn't back just because of flack!
I get so discuted with the hypocrisy of this particular administration . It is a well, well known fact that the only, the one and only reason the civil rights movement in America finally succeeded was the forced implimentation of segregation, otherwise known as "You are going to have to learn that blacks or any other group have the right to live in your neighborhoods, go to your schools, or work at your workplace." This is how Hitler's movement, like most big movement started, with seemingly small instances of hatred and petty prejudice etc.

9. I jost wrote a talkback opinion and meant the word INTEGRATI
Very sorry about that! Obviously , segregation was not implimented to solve problems during civil rights movement. JSJegregation was the problem and integration the solution!

11. Well done Mr. Barak
Finally you have done something praiseworthy. I hope this marks the beginning of new behaviour on your part. As other commentators here have noted, Israel has no need to apologize for bringing a Torah scroll to a synagogue anywhere in Israel, including Jerusalem.

12. What's the problem ?
It occurs more than once that a new Torah is brought to a Beth Knesseth in a festive way here in Israel . So , Where is the problem ?

14. #1 the name of OUR capital is Jerusalem
It is the eternal capital of Israel and of the Jewish nation! It has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus and therefore your Spanish Language use of that name (a combination of Jesus and Jerusalen) is not relevant to the conversation!

16. #15 Rabbi Nachman said...
"The highest peace is the peace between opposites" (LM I:80)
and
"Better to be a fool who believes everything than a skeptic who believes in nothing - not even the truth." (RNW #103)
and
"Always look for the good in the other. Focus on that good, highlight it, and turn even sinner into saint." (LM I:282)
in other words dear #15 do consider the possibility that #3 is on the right track! I think it is a good idea for me to join him, won't you come along and join us in changing the world?
