I couldn't get through this mess. I understand the basic reasoning behind Rabbi Shlomo Aviner's determination as to non-Jews serving in the IDF. Religious, histioric, acient, devisive. Israel needs more divisiveness please. Maybe next; no non-religious Jews. Then no "Conservative," no "Reform," no "Reconstructionist" Jews. Then no Jews born south of Tel Aviv. Then no Jews born outside of Jerusalem. Hey what about only Rabbi's? Haredi Rabbis, from the religious Zionist Movement?

What is the position of the rabbi on Jews serving the the armed forces of non-Jewish countries. Should they do National Service instead?
