3. one little detail that they forgot to mention to the people
is that only the country of departure and the country of arrival have access to the flight manifest. countries in which the planes fly without landed have no way of knowing whether or not israelis are on board.

4. sounds like airlines r trying 2 justify high prices...
How often is this really the case?
If you check as I have you will see that this applies to very few countries and so it is not a huge issue.
This El Al and Co just looking for a way to justify high prices

5. #1 this the current case with EL AL flight to india
EL AL will fly over the red sea international waters to turn around Saudi Arabia, but if emergency happens the only nearby airports are in saudi arabia, sudan, yemen or oman.

7. Which airlines??
Which airlines overfly hostile countries en route to Israel?? I can't think of any, as there are none! But for Israelis who fly on Royal Jordanian as a cheaper alternative to ELAL, you will fly over the Arabian Peninsula, only after departing Amman.

8. #6
Don;t you end up paying more anyway with the extra costs to get from Amman or Cairo to Israel ????
