31. That's how you build a State, not by killing civilians
William ,   Israel   (08.26.09)
You could have done that for decades instead you felt the best way to build a State is to eliminate all the Jews....infact, your negotiation basis was on that very demand. Today, Arabs like Assad still negotiate in that way (give me everything I want, then we'll begin to negotiate peace). Start with the economy and then downsize the govt so all the aid money doesn't go to keeping ministers in nice cars, surrounded by 50,000 policemen. In addition, it means you must build cities and move people from refugee camps into decent homes. No country in the world was ever built through terrorism, it's built through focus on infrastructure and working for citizens, like Israel did through several genocidal wars against her.
32. #25 - Is that why Arabs killed Sephardics in 1920,29?
William ,   Israel   (08.26.09)
You have a loose group on reality and history. Most who immigrated from European nations to build the State were secular and did so with their own bare hands through agriculture and tenacity. You see from the article - the Pals aren't even ready to do that after 62 years of global welfare. Arabs hardly care about the background of a Jew when a racist massacre is afoot. Jews in Jerusalem, Hebron, and Tzfat in the 1920s was a mixed bag of Jews who lived in the region for generations. The Arabs didn't care when they turned on their neighbors, killing them and stealing their property. Infact, the real trouble started when Arabs illegally immigrated by the hundreds of thousands from Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and points East.....and felt threatened by the presence of Jews (not the action of Jews, just their being there). Had Al-Husseini and his blind followers of illegal immigrants never showed up, there would already be peace. That's because those who are left would be real citizens of the land, many of which were forced converts to Islam from Judaism.
33. #26 - and if they did have an army and turned on Israel...
William ,   Israel   (08.26.09)
you wouldn't recognize Palestine at all after the IDF got done with them.
