1. No wonder it's happening again
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (09.06.09)
That's what happens when you send the army only to gain a success in election and not to secure a state. If the IDF would be sent for the purpuse of making sure not a single missile or mortar would ever be fired at Israel, there would still be ground forces in Gaza, demolishing tunnels along the Egypt border and eliminating Hamas terrorists. Overall, it looks like the Gaza disengagement plan (2005) was a a strategic mistake. A mistake that should not be repeated in the west bank.
2. Hamas seemingly welcomes another invasion.
Murray of Montreal   (09.06.09)
They really showed the IDF that they can handle themselves in battle. :o) Someone should tell Hamas that the goal in a war is not to suffer as many casualties as possible in order to get sympathy. What were the figures? 1400 to 13? At that rate Israel has relatively nothing to lose by invading Gaza again (and again).
3. Islamist-Jihadist terrorists should face hellfire
Brod ,   USA   (09.06.09)
A UAV should take care of these terrorists by sending them to their virgins.
4. No injuries or Damages
daay y ,   jerusalem   (09.06.09)
It should read 'no PHYSICAL INJURIES OR DAMAGES.' There are always psychological injuries and damage from these attacks.
5. cry me a river you don't want to get hurt
ghostq   (09.06.09)
don't shoot mortar rockets at Israely civians, that way you won't get retaliated fire.
6. Hamas must be crushed.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (09.06.09)
Not breaking the resistance force of Hamas today means that hundreds of thousands of Israelis will be brought within range of Hamas rockets later. A ceasefire agreement with Hamas means that we will soon receive a stronger, more protected, better-armed and better-trained Hamas. Cities such as Ashdod, Be’er Sheva and Kiryat Gat are in Hamas-rocket range. Several Hamas leaders have declared: “We will strike beyond Be’er Sheva…” More about Hamas and Gaza : http://xrl.us/bebh94
7. We mustn't respond, or if we do only very mildly.
Ehud Barak ,   Jerusalem   (09.06.09)
Remember, that is the peace partner - they must be loved and treated with kid gloves. O, gotta go, time for my meds.
8. the people need to......
zob ,   outside lookin in   (09.06.09)
revolyt against the evil Hamas and take back their area from the wicked thugs! Untill then they will suffer needlessly. I know many there want to live in peace.
