1. 1967
daniel   (09.23.09)
The 1967 border was the one Israel shared with Jordan. Jordan does not want to reclaim the West Bank, so therefore there is no 1967 border to return to. Jimmy Carter even recently be quoted as referring to returning to the 1967 border with "Palestine". So, Israel can not therefore return to something that never existed in the first place. Why is it so hard for Israel to repudiate all the lies and propaganda spewed against it? Why can't the situation be boiled down to reality and truth? It really would not be that hard. And it would work.
2. There are many Islamic or Arab Republics
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (09.23.09)
Looking at the CIA World fact book I find: Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Islamic Republic of Iran Islamic Republic of Mauritania Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arab Republic of Egypt Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya Sultanate of Oman United Arab Emirates But not one Jewish state - time for the Keneseth to fix this once and for all.

west bank r provided by Israel or Jorden, you know phone compeny and so on, these simple pacts just show that palis can't manufacture any self suficiant industryies they relay on donation industry, and as for the natur of leader ship not a democratic state either since the fire shooting between Hama Fatah can be resume any moment from now a state that needs peace talks between the 2 major parties is doomed from the get go.
4. What to discuss?
Alexandre Chinovich   (09.23.09)
Israel must recede from not a single square inch of its land. Jerusalem is an undivisible capital of our country. No Palestinian 'refugees' must be admitted to the territory of Israel. So, what to discuss with this swarm of locust?
5. Nothing but yada, yada for the press so o-BUM-a will think
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.23.09)
he has done something. A tremendous ado about nothing.
6. The record is stuck... change it.
Peter Morris ,   New zealand   (09.23.09)
Some old sound bites, same old lies Since when has Israel recognized even the most basic of rights belonging to the Palestinians. Greed, arrogance and corruption about sums Israel up. Many had hopes in 1948 when Israel was set up. I don't think anyone thought it would be reduced to pretending its war crimes was some fantasy dreamt up by honest respectable judges even when they are Jewish. Plain pathetic.

8. Benjamin Netanyahu: A REAL leader
John ,   Boise, Idaho USA   (09.23.09)
FINALLY, the world has shown forth a true leader in the world and that man is the prime minister of israel. He won't budge on what is right and knows how to say "no" to that which is wrong. I hope the Israeli people rally themselves %100 behind this man and not allow any placating of the Islamic ideologies.
9.  Non-recognition of Israel obstacle to peace
Galut ,   Selah   (09.24.09)
because it is a blood covenant written into the charters of hamas ,fatah & hezbulah....anyone in those organizations that trys to change the charters puts his own life at risk .... which puts the chances that recognition will take place will be slim to none or a possibility that it will be weasle worded.....
