1. first step
John the revelator   (09.24.09)
A very good speech. But the only way to confront the iranian tumris to confront with the word. Bring the fear into the house of shia. Bring them death as a messanger; That's my wish for that new year. They deny the holocaust ? Given them a taste of it ? They love atom. Give them what they like, upon them. God willing. Erase them from surface of earth.
2. who wins?
observer   (09.24.09)
Netanyahu condemns Germany for oppressing the Jews. Ahmadi-Nejad condemns Israel for oppressing the Palestinians. It is difficult to say who wins, but it is easy to say who loses; Netanyahu does, he is waging war of the past.
3. we win #2
M ,   Israel - South   (09.24.09)
I am proud of my PM. For the first time in a very long time have I felt we have once again a true leader. His speech was excellent, bold and more than anything, he spoke the truth! Truth one has not heard in that Assembly in a very, very long time! And truth always wins. And yet, this was not about winning or losing. War in this region is part of our reality. Looks like we are heading for another one. Most probably very soon. The rockets have never stopped. Does that mean we lose? No, we fight for the right to live in our Homeland. It's not about winning or losing, it's about truth and lies. And no one seems to want to hear the blunt truth anymore. Tonight was a great victory for truth spoken in a building that has embraced lies for too many years.
4. Shalom to Israel
Mario McDonald ,   Saint Cloud, FL USA   (09.24.09)
The words of the President of Israel are full of power and truth, the Jewish people need to understand that they are alone in this world, only few people around the world support Israel right of existence, the majority are Zionist Christians, we believe in your right to the land given by G_d to your ancestors. The words of the prophets in 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Israel seek G_d, seek Hashem's grace and repent, in your hour of sorrow He is the only one who loves you and care for you. We Zionist Christians stand with you because we owe to you who we are, we are the wild branch that was grafted into the Holy tree, our voice stands with you. But when we are not around only in G_d can you rely. Shalom to you my friends Shaalu Shalom Yerushalaim Shaalu Shalom Yisrael.
5. To #2 Observer
Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron Israel   (09.24.09)
Dear Observer, It's people like Ahmadinejad (and you) who deny the past who give it the chance of coming back! We oppress nobody! This is our land, the Land of Israel! We are the future and the past!
6. YES!
rebecca ,   Thornhill,Canada   (09.24.09)
Netanyahu gave a great speech at U.N. today...especially after yesterday's clowns from Libya & Iran. We are especially proud of Harper & Canada who boycotted along with Israel yesterday's rantings! Am Israel Chai!

tunity of watching both a-jad,and Bibi. A-jad came off like an eneducated liar and the meglomaniac that he is. There was a great laughter outbreak when he talked about his honest and fair election. But folks soon lost interest in the small monkey look alike when he condemened everybody in the world except for himself and Iran. Many, many(~35-40 people) in the entire UN forum were either reading something, or talking amongst themselves and only occupying a seat instead of giving the monkey any respect at all. And these were mostly muslim countries that were represented. The world is tired of this evil man and his religious henchmen. The leaders of the world have slapped him across the face by not showing up and letting their junior representatives walk out right in front of the podium where a-jad was speaking. It was a great thing to watch I tell you. Today when Bibi spoke, he was solemn, forceful, and truthful. Many muslim nations may not have liked what he had to say, but they had to respect his strength and courage, and no one walked out. So my unobservant friend, all the polls show that Bibi, and not a-jad was the clear winner in this. The world is tired of a-jads same old worn out lies and antics. Time to turn the page, get rid of him, and move on.
11. For the world, not the UN
Alan Drury ,   Denver, Colorado   (09.24.09)
Netanyahu's direct, truthful words were spoken in the UN, but they weren't for the UN. That corrupt body is largely anti-Israel, and that will never, ever change. Bibi's speech was for the world to hear -- pleading with the world to recognize Israel's sovereign right to exist in security and peace, without constant meddling by other nations (like the US). The Lord said that all who burden themselves with Jerusalem will be cut in pieces, and looking at the way things are, that is visibly true. The UN is not part of the solution, it is a large part of the problem.
12. his speech made ahmadi nijad sound like a moderate genius!!!

14. BIBI, you're the man !
stephane ,   france   (09.24.09)
i just want to say that i am very proud, as a jew, that the man who represent the only jewish country made such a good speech. he spoke like a real man, he spoke like a real jew. thank you mr nethanyaou! it's been a long time that i'm waiting that a prime minister of israel will say loudly the truth to the face of this hyppocrit world ! the so called " civilized wold " afford himsel TO OFTEN to give moral lessons to israel ! and when they have an opportunity to show if they have dignity; only 14 countries stand up and leave to boycott the nazi ahmadinedjad. with olmert, we would never have a speech like that. thanks god you came back bibi.
15. "Arabs are a threat too denial"
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim,   (09.24.09)
B"H There is a politically correct tendency in Israel today that can be describe as "Arabs are a threat too denial". There is an Arab minority here, so anyone who says "Arabs are our enemies" or "Arabs are Holocaust deniers" or that "Mr. Abbas is an accomplished Holocaust denying author and politician" is considered a racist and faces civil proceedings on incitement for racism charges. As there isn't a non Jewish Iranian minority in Israel, saying that Iran is a threat is not considered racist statement.
16. Mario-I for one always appreciate Christian Zionists support

debbie ,   israel   (09.24.09)
THANK GOD - Finally we have an Israeli Prime Minister who speaks the truth, doesn't cowtow to the rest of the world, and says it like it is. May God give Benyamin Netanyahu many years of wisdom, grace and strength to lead our country.
18. peace talks
alexi   (09.24.09)
israel has to quit crying to the world about iran and their shmuck ahmadinejad with his phony ph.d i transportation engineering. US has no appetite for any action against iran and will not life a finger.Basically, they will live with nuclear iran. Bibi along with yaalon, merridor, being and barak have to launch a raid when they are ready, period. That's it. In the meantime, oren, ayalon, lieberman, peres can do the speakers circuit to explain the world. Each time ahmadinejad opens his mouth against israel, lieberman should immediately fire back that he and his circle personal and otherwise will be harmed. And the iranian population who hates kameinei's guts should be fired up. When obama says there is a record to fall back on in negotiations and that basically olmert's offer is a starting point, israel should reject it. And the lador should prosecute the hell out of olmert and send him tojail for a long time. Goldstone can go visit him along with olmert's wife, who took free trips to europe off holocaust charity money.
19. Response to #13
Bernard ,   Brooklyn USA   (09.24.09)
Hi Dick (it IS Dick, es Richard?), To hear "lying" in one speech, perhaps you should review some of the Iranian president's speeches or better yet, go listen to the Libyan dictator's speech yesterday. Then, when you have practiced your little responses in front of a mirror and written them all down, why don't you rejoin the discussion when you can present a clear, lucid argument. OK pumkin? Bernie

25. Iran Tirany
Tony Morisause ,   Port Moresby, PNG   (09.25.09)
I want to congratulate PM Netanyahu on behalf of a small Jewish community in Papua New Guinea. Thank you for voicing our concern boldly in front of the world leaders, who don't seem to care about facts and logic. Iran has made its point plain and simple...it want to eradicate Israel...What more is the world looking for? Please can someone out there rewrite the English language properly for leaders, policy and decision makers to understand? To the PM, G-d of Israel will lead you as you lead us in our struggle for peace and happiness. We are praying for the homeland and are certain for victory. No matter how painful it will be, we will achieve it...with G-d's help. Tony Morisause Papua New Guinea
26. Why doesnt someone question iran's legitimacy?
Bunny meyer ,   santa monica   (09.25.09)
the Iraq ans iran war was faked by both parties for money by Iran. so iran could kill as many of there own people as possible under the premise of a fake war. they paid saddam big money to partner up with them to do this. The mullahs could kill all the of the people from the shahs regime, jews, gays, and anyone else that didnt support their point of view. This is a fake and non- legit regime. Is Iran really a legal county?
