1. Mr. Braverman and Mr. Anabtawi
Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron Israel   (10.01.09)
Let's put things in there place. We are talking about people who act against the state, not about victims. Mr. Braverman should care about so many Jews that go to bed hungry and will be cold this winter. Mr. Anabtawi should think twice before menacing with riots if the police show around! Are we in Israel or in the kingdom of Israeli arabs? The police presence bothers him? Why? The answer is simple, they consider us their enemies and Mr. Braverman is saying that we should care more about the poor things. War is not just with guns and stones, it's also with words and with ideas. We cannot lose any more ground to this anarchic proposals.
2. Boycott The Arabs
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (10.01.09)
They consistently elect the most virulently anti-Israel people to represent them in the Knesset and they openly side with our enemies. They chose violence, Fatah, and Hamas in 2000. Now it is time for us to cut them loose. Let them fend for themselves. Do not give them your "Zionist" money.
3. they started the violent riots and now they r on strike
ghostq   (10.01.09)
cause someone got hurt, where is the logic? it was unauthorized violent riot, people do get hurt in violent riots you don't want to get hurt don't participate in the riot, mega duh again where is the logic? so they go on strike they don't provid services to the jewish comunity anyway so this is just shooting their own foot. make themselves miserble twice. oh very smart indeed.
4. In memoriam

I'm not occupying any city. Even if I wasn't Christian (which I am), this city is Arab and Palestinian one, proud of its Muslim inhabitants too. You should come visit some time. Its beautiful.

i agree leila. let us mourn the death of those arab citizens that died. they have the right for our respect. my only question to you, as an arab israeli, is , when are we going to demonstrate and mourn the death of many many jews in israel whom we terrorised and killed needlessly throughout the years by our hand, by our terror and violence against them. i never saw our shops or our demonstrations against the killing of jews in israel by terror on our side. when are we going to be citizens enough to also demonstrate when an arab kills a jew needlessly? when are we as ctizens of israel show the state in which we live that we also care about their losses? this never happens on our side. never. on the contrary, we cheer and we do everything to make the israelis think we are not part of the country. our ministers and political representatives do everyting to isolate us as arabs from the country in which we now live and in which we are its citizens. if we as arabs do not give back to this country, we cannot expect this country to involve or respect us in return. this is our country. everytime there is a terrorist attack we are silent. everytime there is a war, we are silent even if some of our people are killed by those kassams and hizbullah rockets, we are silent. everytime one of our own kills a soldier or commits an act of terror in jerusalem we are silent. what does this silence say to israelis? that we are part of them? that we are concerned for all life in our country? no! our silence is taken as our approval of their death. thisc silence and our arab party knesset members are more harm to us that anything israelis do to us. let's talk truth here and realize that in this country, our life style, our freeedom of speech, our opportunities and our future is 100% better than if we all lived in other arab countries. when i look at how our people live in other arab countries, i am ashamed, especially when our brothers put the rest of us in prisons and camps and used us as cannon fodder against israel, used us for political reasons and disrespected us because we were convenient armor and tool against israel. let's be honest with ourselves for the first time in our lives. let's face the truth that israel, our country, compared to all arab regimes, have given us the opportunity to advance and to be included by offering us many ways to include ourselves in the country. but, our representatives always create trouble for us, refuse us to do national service, most of our people never pay taxes to israel and then complain when they don't have services, we keep our villages and cities dirty and without any pride in our lives and homes. this has got to stop. we have to face our part here of our difficulties and not always scream that others are unfair to us. we as arabs have to be involved in our destiny and not expect to get everything given to us for free. the best way to start here is tp fire all our respresentatives in the knesset that do not and never did have our interest in mind. they also, like all arab regimes, use us and our brothers in the camps they created, as political tools against the israelis. we should never be a political tool. we are human beings that need representatives that don't scream politics all the time, but help us, really help us become part of the israeli society. they always make us more and more apart from this socisty than help us become a part of it. this is the truth, and i know it. i am an educated man, a doctor student in medicine in the hebrew university and believe me, i work with israelis everyday and i do not feel any animosity because i believe in being part of this country and part of its society, not only shouting from our mosque or churches, but also contributing to this society and doing my part here as a citizen. only if we hold this view, will we become a full member of this society. let's not lie to ourselves here, leila. abeed,

Those rioters were not standing for their rights. War-criminal Arafat saw that Israel was led by incompetents Barak and Ben-Ami and decided on military action, sending his forces to murder Jews. Some Arab citizens (the rioters) decided to join the armed struggle and attack Jews also. Fortunately for them, the police acted with great restraint (unlike Hussein or Assad) and only killed 12. We should both agree: Arabs who want to exterminate Israel should move to PA rule to avoid taking Bituach Leumi, and can come back when you destroy Israel.
11. I think it is in our interest to care
Israeli   (10.01.09)
We have to create a new relationship between the Arabs and Jews of this land, based on mutual respect and accomodation of the needs of each group. The protests of 2000 were violent and I do not agree with that, but 13 people are dead (plus the thousands on each side over the years) and human life should count to both sides for more.
12. 2 states, 2 peoples, One disaster waiting in the 'coulisses'
ZORRO   (10.01.09)
I think we should warn Law & Order to stay out of T.A., Jerusalem, Haifa, Natanya, etc.,to let US to decide how to run our own affairs.-- i.e. strikes for the murder of 1% of our population by arab thugs in 48' , the slaughtering of 1000's from bombing, suicide, since; the many wars of attrition, and other Islamic specialties. We should invite 10 Foreign dignitaries from Embassies located in OUR country to attend. Any interference from the authorities will be viewed as provocative unnecessary act. between me an the lamp post; I fail to understand the " Lucid cry against racism and discrimination ".The koran is a 'masterpiece' of such pristine literature of world renown, preached daily in mosque's, in classes, the media. Am I to assume that Tehran, Riyadh, Beijing, Cairo, or Moscow will oblige and let Foreigners, with 'carte blanche', to demonstrate against their State ?? -- Diplomats ?? Israelis; slowly, inexorably, surely, we are loosing our little country piece meal. We don't have to live in a Sunami infested area. Ours is a built in job.
13. What´s the difference??
Uzziel   (10.01.09)
The arabs hardly work on a normal day, 32% of arab households live on Israeli welfare and they don´t miss a single opportunity to milk Israeli institutions they despise so much. As if the People of Israel owe them something for the mere fact of returning to the ancestral and SOVEREIGN land. Eventually they will have to commemorate whatever they please, on the other side of the border.
14. #4- Leila.
Uzziel   (10.01.09)
Can you tell me which rights of the arabs leaving in Israel are supressed?
15. The Palestinians
C Cameron ,   Ipswich G B   (10.02.09)
The 'Arabs of Israel' are the indigenous people of Palestine, whose country was destroyed and occupied in 1948.
