Noam Shalit: We fear negotiations may take years    Hagai Einav
1. Noam be frank!, you fear Israel NOT Hamas
Hamas promised to release Shalit's video and honored its word. How many times has Israel not honored its word? I'll tell you; non-countable.

2. A PLEA TO OUR GOVERNMENT
There should be absolutely no delay in bringing this poor tortured boy home immediately!!! If Israel does not act now, he might not survive much longer. We don't have time, and if it means freeing high risk Palestinian prisoners, then that's the price. Just imagine any of you, if your own child was being held captive by terrorists. Once, we would stop at nothing to save any Israeli being held by terrorists. That is the way I feel about Gilad - he is the child of every single one of us. I would do anything to bring my child home to safety and to the love of his parents and siblings. NO MORE PROCRASTINATION!!!BRING GILAD HOME NOW!!!

3. Yes, it may take years to get his release. But remember
Alexander Solzinitzen's words in a similar situation when he was the captive. He said you learn as a captive that the only people who care about you and continue to are your relatives. When all others have forgotten and stopped trying to help free you, your relatives are your hope. So try to find a way to get along with relatives so that they will miss you enough before a tragedy like this happens, to go to the lengths Noam Shalit has for his son's release.
