2. Eric, where have you been?
Noor ,   Palestine   (10.11.09)
9/10 of the Goldstone Report was dedicated to the country which you happen to be living in.
3. Abbas prosecute yourself
TAREQ ,   Jerusalem   (10.11.09)
You are the first one who deserves to be prosecuted, now the palestinians know very well who is the real criminal who was always hiding in the arms of Dayton.
4. to noor
Barney ,   USA   (10.11.09)
hamas started the fight. Israel finished it. war is dirty. don't pick a fight and then cry when you get the crap beat out of you. had rockets not been flying into civilian areas for years cast lead would have never happened. had the brave hamas fighters not been hiding behind civilians then no civilians would have been harmed. the report is not worth the paper it is written on even though it acknowledges hamas commited war crimes. we didn't need a report to know that firing rockets into civilian areas is a crime.
5. Start with Abbas
Palestine Hawk ,   haifa   (10.11.09)
Vichi succumb to nazi Abbas bow to tzippi and barak bibi not guilty for reason unkown
6. Noor, where have you been?
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (10.11.09)
Read the report. The Goldstone Report is very clear on calling Hamas guilty of crimes against humanity for eight years of daily missile barrages which terrorized Israeli citizens. But go ahead -- have your little conference (although I fail to see how an entity that is not a nation has the right to call for anything at the United Nations). The United States, Israel, all the countries of the European Community, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Japan will all walk out again, leaving the entire Third World to hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Business as usual at the United Nations. Ever wonder why no one that matters takes them seriously?
7. noor, just a reminder
normal ,   Beersheva, Israel   (10.11.09)
that Mr. Goldstone have decided that Israel was guilty before he started the inquiry. one cannot expect to investigate one part of an entire picture and be taken seriously. you say that Israeli attacks on Palestinian is warcrime, if so, why 8000 rockets fired by Palestinian militants aren't considered war crime? how does shooting from civilian population isn't war crime? using international aid facilities as shelter, supply depot or launching sites isn't considered as war crime? how about using hospitals as shelters and command bunkers isn't considered as war crime? answer me that please.
8. Israel should bomb this little terrorist
jason white ,   afula,israel   (10.11.09)
creep and the Mossad should handle goldstone the traitor!
9. "The Arabs have never missed an opportunity to miss an...
Udi ,   Ein Shemer, Israel   (10.11.09)
...opportunity" and Abbas is not any different. Instead of moving on the peace process, he now insists to use the sham report of Goldstone to sling mud at Israel, to continue to demonize it and delegitimize its very existence. Abbas, Israel will not permit you or anyone else to tie its hands behind its back in its fight for its defense and the defense of its citizens life when attacked by thugs. Thus if you want Goldstone, be it, but Goldstone does not go along with any other risk taking gestures you may continue to expect from Israel. Enough is enough!
10. Just a reminder to clueless Israelis
Nour ,   Palestine   (10.11.09)
Here's the Palestinian people's opinion re the two rival factions: Abbas (Fatah imposter/General Dayton servant) popularity: 0% Mashal / Hanniyeh: Close to 60% If elections were held today, Hamas would win by a landslide. Above figures courtesy of : 1) Israeli relentless colonization drive. 2) Pulling of Goldstone Report thanks to Oblabla's pressure on his puppet Abbas. 3) America's hypocrisy in endorsing the occupation, killing us, and bribing the thugs in Fatah who sold their soul to the devil. Hamas is as stong as ever, if not at its highest ever standing on the Palestinian street. I don't support Hamas but rest assured the Resistance camp won. The "piece" process was a hoax, and the One State solution is up ahead, with a few wars of attrition on the way. Brace up Zionists. The region's face is changing quicker than you can blink and the good news is: you ain't got a clue!

Marco ,   Spain   (10.11.09)
Noor, I agree with all 99% of your posts. I believe that Abbas is a traitor and that Marwan Barghouty is more deserving of the post of President. Your feedback on that.
12. Abbas must be prosecuted for hunting down Hamas chiefs

oh wait , lets start with Abbas ! What a joke this guy is !!! like The rest of The Thugs he leads
14. While they are all at it...
Bartley Kulp ,   Haifa   (10.11.09)
They should discuss Abbas's college thesis denying the holocaust.
15. Good. They will discuss the report ....
Bartley Kulp ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.11.09)
Then the US will veto it. Sorry Charlie.
16. #10 Just a reminder to clueless Palestinians
Logic ,   Israel   (10.12.09)
Don't count on the One State fantasy happening anytime soon. We can always open the floodgates to friendly non-Jewish economic migrants.
17. YES, prosecute war criminals, put in prison those who used
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (10.12.09)
civilians as shields, hamass terrorists who did this should be in jail for the rest of their lives.

Nour ,   Palestine   (10.12.09)
Opening the floodgates to foreign workers? Sure I heard that one before, even granting their children Israeli citizenship. This is all while Palestinian refugees are denied their human right to go back to their homes and land, just because "they're Arab". Keep dreaming, right of return is unnegotiable, Jerusalem is ours, and so is Yafa and Akka btw.
20. Assassinate ALL Palestinian leaders
Steve from Raleigh   (10.12.09)
Hamas, Fatah, all of them. If we're going down, we're taking you with us.
21. To: No. 10
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (10.12.09)
Why, thank you for offering your opinion which is, of course, irrelevant, because Israelis are rapidly coming to the conclusion that the Palestinians -- and their 30-something factions -- are nothing more than scorpions in a bottle. Here's the plan, baby girl: You are all hopelessly incapable of agreeing on the time of day, let alone managing and actully running a functioning government. Israel is not about to revert to 1967 borders. Palestinians -- and their descendants -- living in Judea and Samaria and who were citizens of Jordan as at June 1967 will be forcibly deported to Jordan, land of their citizenship. Gaza will be taken back, and its residents and descendants will be deported to Egypt as they were Egyptian citizens as at June 1967. You can play hardball with the Jordanians and with the Egyptians. You can fight to your heart's content amongst yourselves -- that is really the only thing you are good at -- and, most importantly, the Jewish state can annex the West Bank, annex Gaza and have a safe, sufficiently large state that does not contain YOU. Don't think it can't happen. Don't think it won't happen. Brace up, terrorists. Israel's attitude is growing increasingly hardline and -- predictably enough -- it's happening much more rapidly that you can blink and the BEST NEWS IS YOU HAVEN'T GOT A BLOODY CLUE! Six humiliating losses in war against the Jewish state and sixty-one years of unrelenting terror have brought you nothing and have taught you nothing. You're all out of chances. Tick tock.
22. Abbas is right ! A Decision is needed !
Mark ,   London , USA   (10.12.09)
Now if we can just figure out which desert to ship him off to , better yet Antarctica may be a better choice . G-d Bless Yisrael !
23. I hope Abbas means Hamas:
leo ,   USA   (10.12.09)
"Palestinian president [Abbas] announces he instructed delegate in Geneva to demand vote on Gaza war report ('in order to prosecute those who perpetrated crimes against our children and women')"
24. Abbas has no moral standing
Brod ,   USA   (10.12.09)
to talk about prosecution. He is a leader of an Islamist-Jihadist terrorist organization. When did terrorism becomes more moral than a country defending its nation against Islamist-Jihadist terrorism and aggression?
25. While every one is asking...
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (10.12.09)
everybody else where they have been, all I can think of is the face of Abbas as in this article. He reminds me of a guy who is playing chess with Karpov and Karpov keeps on telling him "Checkmate!” I don’t know about you People but this is a hilarious thought As for you Noor (post # 10); we might look clueless to you but did you ever stop to think that we enjoy seeing and even anticipated a good Hamas/Fatah fight, as in a coq fight where none of the animals win but rather both die? Exactly what's happening with both terrorist entities...let the games begin and let them fight to their bitter end, AMEN!
26. Abbas's anti-Jewish / anti-Israeli incitement is indicative
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.12.09)
why Israel can't take additional risky steps towards peace. The man was offered in 2008 97% of the territories in dispute and he rejected it, based on his interview with the Washington Post, yet his inciting speech accuse Israel of attempting "ethnic cleansing of Christians and Muslims". With this kind of mindset, let alone person, no country would take risks.

Do you remember the neo-nazi gang of boys from former Soviet Union?
28. Funny...A terrorists wants us prosecuted!
Jay3 ,   ISrael   (10.12.09)
HAs the world forgotten that this man, Abass, was one of the masterminds of the Munich MAssacre??????? How quick the world forgets!
29. The majority of the Palestinian Arab population support ...
Ron B. ,   Lod   (10.12.09)
The majority of the Palestinian Arab population support the destruction of Israel. Poll after poll shows widespread collective support among the majority of the Palestinian Arab population for the destruction of Israel. In a poll released July 2006[1] the majority of Palestinian Arabs responded - 77.2% expressed support for the abduction of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and - 60.4% supported the continuation of indiscriminate firing of deadly Qassam rockets into Israeli towns. Ironically, Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention that deals with prohibition of imposing collective punishment on civilian population under occupation, should have been applied by the Goldstone Mission to protect over 1,000,000 innocent men, women, and children in the Israeli towns of Sderot, Ashkelon, and hundreds of smaller communities that are collectively punished day-in and day-out for offences they never personally committed. The Goldstone report ignores this : http://xrl.us/bfq3q7
30. Noor - Palestinians have their one state: Gaza
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (10.12.09)
Noor, Please keep in mind that after teh '67 war no one wanted the Palestinians not the Egyptians nor the Jordanians whose land you were living in. And recall it is an Egyptian/Israeli blockade on Gaza not just an Israeli one. In the end Hamas will continue to control Gaza and the west bank will stay under military rule until such time as the locals grow up enough to control themselves. Until then Israel will start having the free hand to repress the violence as the world sees that even where the Palestinians control there is no hope for peace. In the last war Israel was constrained by a very moral government that wanted to make it safe for the civilians - Hamas has made sure that in the next war there are no civilian locations as Hamas is using them as shields. So forget a one state solution you have your one state it was handed over with a working economy and all facilities needed for a good life and Hamas is turning it into slum by using the greenhouses as mortars etc. Get used to what Hamas thinks of its people. You had it better when the Palestinians were under Israel control.
