intelligent commentary. I really appreciated it. I would simply add that in this day od "victim" as hero, there is a sense of personal and group entitlement which comes with it. In short, it's as if, "Everyone else is responsible for my pain and I needn't do anything to work my way out of the situation in which I find myself." In fact, there are so many advantages to claiming the "victim" status and both individuals, families and groups revel in it. When I was a teenager and young man, I recall that most people would have been ashamed of the charity associated with this status as well as the lack of independence and pride.

The Palestinians are victims, of their
socalled leaders. I am sure that many Palestinians want nothing more than to live their lives and raise their families just like Israelis. Their
problem is that for 60 years and more recently, their leaders have had a bigger interest in lining their pockets with aid money and getting
sweet business deals that keep them in power. The absolute worst thing that could happen for Abbas,
Erekat, Dahlan and Haniyah & Co
would be peace with Israel. The money would dry up and maybe the
Palestinian people would build their cities and realize true freedom with
true representative govt. Get rid of the Mafia leaders and peace will come.

Mr. Schueftan is trying the same old stategy of blaming the victim. You can use the same analogy of Israelenjoying the victim role to the tune of trillion of dollars collected from present day Germany and the from The united state.
Simple - stop confescating their land, demolishing their homes, improsining their men, women and children, build settlements and interfere with every aspects of their lives and I am certain they will stop complaining.
