31. stop generalizing
Generalizations are not true for an entire group. Maybe there are Chareidim who live the ways that are described in the article and/or in the talkbacks. But there are plenty who live partially in those ways, or even just a little bit in those ways. There was a chiloni man who allegedly killed his granddaughter & put her in a suitcase in the Yarkon. Does that make ALL chilonim murderers? Of course not! There are chilonim who live materialistic spiritually empty lives. Does that mean that ALL chilonim do? Of course not! Likewise, there are Chareidim who don't work or pay taxes. There are Chareidim who marry off their daughters after a two hour meeting. Does that define Chareidim? Are ALL Chareidim like this? Maybe there's more to the story of any particular Chareidi person. Maybe some chilonim do the same thing for different reasons. STOP GENERALIZING. Look at individuals AS INDIVIDUALS. And, when you don't have details, give some slack. Dan b'chaf z'chut.

"The FFB's who leave the fold do not see anymore the beauty of G-d, their eyes turned to the tv and what it's selling, but in time they too will find how empty the other side is."
Trying to convince yourself?

34. #1 "Subhumans, incapable of love like other people"
Charles, this is priceless. Can I quote your comment on other blogs? Haredim are subhumans, incapable of love like other humans. And a "doctor" told you this. German "doctors" said the same about Jews.
I have bookmarked your comment and will be sure to send it to all my haredi friends as a typical attitude of seculars.

35. Oh, and Charles, about your doctor friend
I just sent your talkback to a haredi friend, who also happens to be an MD and a psychiatrist, who told me that your alleged "religious doctor friend" has committed a very serious breach of patient confidentiality and privacy by chit-chatting to you about her patients cases. She should be brought before a board of ethics and could be stripped of her license to practice, all because she revealed details about her patients that you then spread all over YNet talkbacks.
So think about that, and maybe recommend your "religious doctor friend" in the talkbacks so that the authorities can be notified.
