1. Summarizing Haber's logic
Our enemies, Hamas, Fatah and their Israeli Arab collaborators, are about to temporarily put aside their differences to deal with their common enemy the Jews. The Israeli strategy should be to give them as many tangible territorial assets so that the can efficiently carry out their plans.
Hate to say but that sounds crazy to me.

2. haber like olmert
haber is out of his mind with his panciky olmert fears. Any deals with fatah are worthless as they are unreliable. Peres questionned why hamas fired rockets from gaza? Like he didn't know?? Haber, sign a deal, concede and everything else willbe better.Bull! Haber is a journalist like olmert in his military days and is out of his element. He supported olmert who refused to asssasinate hamas, to target them after every missile shot. Olmert sat there with his moronic partner livni, both lawyers, stuck in fear and utopian baseless dreams of peace.
In the meantime, goldstone should consider seriously revoking his UN report because of the one sided resolution. If not, he and his wife may want to consider moving from London to ankara, or amman or south africa where he will be celebrated. As far as the jewish commonwealth is concerned, he joins the enemies list including eichmann, saddam hussein, assad and now goldstone.

3. Negotiate With Who?
Quote "For Israel this is merely a lull, and each minute must be utilized for negotiations with the Palestinians."
Who should Israel negotiate with?
Aren't the Palestinians themselves divided, or have I missed some important news in that area?

4. fatally flawed analysis!
first of all, the palestinian anarchy IS fatah. they are not separate, because there is no way to tell them apart - they are one and the same.
this is important, because to pretend that the pa leadership renounces violence and accepts israel's right to exist, while fatah insists that it will never do so, is nothing but self-deception. fatah are not the "good guys" in this play, they are merely the more secular of the terrorists, whereas hamas are the more religious. but they are all still committed, from their very charters, to the violent destruction of all of israel.
israel should not be picking sides in arab palestinian internal affairs; they have never been good at it, and the mistakes are too costly. israel should butt out, and be prepared to deal with the winner.
the very notion of israel "strengthening" abu mazen, the terrorist in a business suit, is insane. supplying tens of thousands of rifles and dozens of armoured vehicles to the "moderate" terrorists is crazy, because the day will come when these "moderates" turn them against israel, once they have maximized the concessions that they feel can be wrung out of israel by negotiations. you do not need an army of 70,000 fighters to prepare for peace.
abu mazen is no different than arafat, and only the most stubborn (and stupid) left-winger cannot see that the oslo agreement led to the intifada, and not to peace.
now is the time to finish hamas, by every means available, not as a favour to abu mazen, but as a means to stop the terrorism from gaza once and for all.

5. Hamas, the PA, and Israeli Arabs?
Could one pick a more shaky, inherently unstable alliance?
The forces that work to pull such doubtful partners together, would work equally hard to pull it apart.

8. Nip It In The Bud: Expel Them All
We know from experience that our enemies are just using the lull to regroup and try to destroy us again.
Why wait? Why give them any advantage?
While they are weak and disorganized, we need to destroy them, return to the status quo ante, and bring real peace.

10. Beware the quiet
Anyone who knows anything about the methods of our enemies know that they are merely using the lull to re-arm. If Bibi is stupid enough to give up land they will then have an even stronger foothold from which to attack us. Look what happened in Gaza--now imaging that in all Judea and Samaria. Only a fool or a PA/Hamas member would say that giving up our land will bring peace.

12. in America we say....
A good defence is a good offence. What I would do if I was Israel I would plant many obsticals in the field of my enemy causing explosions mysteriously, riots, asasinations, fires and anything else you can think of. Give back what they gave you when you lived in peace. Shoot rockets into the Gaza and say it was not Israel doing this.
