Netanyahu wants to change the laws of wars… He wants to undermine one of the major pillars of Human Rights….One of the safeguard of Humanity against the madness of Men… Doesn’t he know that these laws were put in place following the atrocities that millions of innocent civilians died and millions more suffered during the second world war, including the millions of Jews who fell victims of the horrors of Holocaust. Generations of Holocaust survivors & their surviving relatives worked relentlessly with other people from around the world to put these laws into place so that they can stand up and shout high for everybody to hear “Never Again such atrocities will be allowed to happen” . Sure he claims that he only wants to tweak the laws to fit the war on terror, soon more and more of the laws will be tweaked or disappear…and soon all what is left of the “Never Again” shout is just a whisper. And since when turning oneself into a terrorist to fight terrorist is acceptable. It is like the Allies should have behaved like SS butchers in fighting Nazi Germany. What is it so special about IDF that it shouldn’t be subjected to scrutiny? The US & the British Armed forces were subject to similar accusations…they faced them, took responsibility and worked to rectify their mistakes…why should Israel do less…Just because a couple of over-zealous IDF officers might have gone overboard and didn’t’ account for civilian casualties when giving orders, or some trigger happy soldiers might have caused the death to some innocent civilians, Netanyahu wants to undermine one of Humanities safeguards… Let them stand trial, and have their chance to defend themselves instead of stooping so low in trying to sneak their way out. terrorists don't follow the rules of war anyway, so their opposition to this is only because it will free israel from being constrained on the battlefield and from criticism afterwords. if the terrorists can target civilians from within civilian populations, then all responsibility should be on them for what happens when they are engaged. there should be no punishment or apology for fighting cowardly terrorists on their terms.

People who act outside the boundaries of humanity shouldn't be treated humanely. Noone is talking about becoming a terrorist, and noone is saying the IDF shouldn't be subjected to scrutiny. The problem is the ridiculous, relentless, cruel, and vicious attempts to delegitimize the only army in the world that goes out of its way to drop over hundreds of thousands of pamphlets, make tens of thousands of phone calls, and send tens of thousands of text messages to the civilians in a bombat zone in order to safeguard them. The problem is the equivocation of an army that actually takes these procedures, with a group of genocidal terrorists. International community made it a point to say that they will not steep to the level of savagery & barbarism of Nazis's behavior. And they will treat all people in the same manner under the Human Rights laws & Laws of war even if the Nazis did not deserve it... International Community should be steadfast in being the Moral compass, even if some terrorist elements defy its laws. and doesn't play by the humanitarian rules..but at the end the terrorist will be brought to justice and judged according to the laws that bibi wants to undermine.
