Assuming the governments past and present have not done their duty and deported the workers,does that give any more reason that the workers somehow or other now become legal? Regardless of why the Government failed in their duty to remove these peoples does not negate them from now doing their duty. It is accepted that these people are hardworking and are decent people,but as soon as they move from the legal to the illegal then they are obliged to either go of their own volition or be deported by force There can be no excuse for them staying other then negligence on the part of the authorities and the usual blathering on the part of the left wing bleeding heart brigade. The law if not enforced is going to cause huge problems 5 or 10 years from now with these people then demanding more and more
