Iran has signed the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty, Israel has not. That means that Iran is obligated to allow monitoring of all its nuclear facilities by the IAEA who are also allowed to make snap visits if they choose. Israel has not signed the NPT there fore the IAEA have no right to monitor any of Israels nuclear sites and certainly not because the persian monkey demands it. So it seems more than hypocritical for Israel and others to demand that Iran open its nuclear facilities to inspection while Israel has slammed shut the doors on its nuclear facilities and refuses any inspection. Lest anyone forget, not too long ago Iran said it would end its nuclear ambitions in exchange for a nuclear-free Middle East. Sounds fair to me.

One real question is whether President Obama will accept a deception from Iran which allows him to claim that he has stopped them from developing nuclear weapons while they in fact retain their capacity to enrich uranium, and build a weapon? Another way of asking the question is asking whether Obama will agree to be fooled not simply for a year but for a number of years? I do not know the answer here. I only know his predecessor promised much and did next to nothing in stopping Iran. Israel is very much alone here, except if the Americans decide to take themselves seriously and truly stop Iran.
