the right of Jews, only because they are Jews, to visit the most important site to Judaism...??
2. Israelis deserve every bit of what's coming their way
Marwan ,   Amman, Jordan   (10.25.09)
when you cross all the red lines, and you tread on all that's holy to nearly 2 BILLION human beings, you totally deserve to pay the price.
3. to #2 Israel let muslim pray in the mosque
ghostq   (10.25.09)
in jerusalem but as you see they r the one who start with riots after massive inciting by their religious leaders, this as you see is just the retliate reaction, so typical to palis behavior. I have a strong feeling they will whine after ward, they start violence and get punished see a behavior patern. I do.
4. In the famous words spoken by Israel's warriors

in June 1967: "Har ha'bait be'yadenu"!!! (The Temple Mount is in our hands). After waiting for 1903 years to regain it, it will remain so for eternity.
5. #2 "tread on all that's holy"
Brian ,   IL   (10.25.09)
"you tread on all that's holy to nearly 2 BILLION human beings" But its ok to *build a mosque* on all that is holy to Jews or any other religion for that matter? Because there are "2 BILLION" muslims means you get things your way or else off with their heads? Certainly seems that minorities in muslim countries don't usually fare too well on the freedom front.. in fact lets be brutally honest here - even muslims are lacking in basic freedom and human rights in muslim countries.. FREEDOM - learn it, live it.
6. Temple Mount incitement
Barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (10.25.09)
People, I smell another war coming. Is it worth it ?????
7. To #2
Nili   (10.25.09)
Interesting that we mention the temple in our prayers and all over the world Jews face the Temple Mount while praying--meanwhile, it is not mentioned once in the koran and you guys pray facing Mecca--with your butts facing the mount. So explain to me again how this is so holy to you?
8. # 2, What's coming their way, moron?
Semper Fi! ,   San Diego, USA   (10.25.09)
Like what came their way in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, 2000 and the most recent "arab victories" ? You should be one of those fanatics idiots that claim victory after having lost. Go ahead make your victory sign hidden in the depth of your cave, and walking over the ruins and rubbles of the cities and buildings so well defended by your (dead) victorious armies. Amongst the alleged 2 billions of muslims worldwide, a large majority of them don't really give a s...t about your cause, but you keep watching the false and fake news of your clerics and mediae...Keep watching and declare victory, idiot! What should be coming to the Mount is a Fallujah style action and you won't be talking about that any longer. You could also afterwards show the pictures of the dead while crying and whinning to the Eurabia press.
9. to #2 Now it is two billion, not 1.3?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (10.25.09)
There is only one that counts, our G-d, not "allah"! All you know how to do is to take over the holy sites of other religions and sometimes destroy them .Not only Jewish, but Christian, Hindu and Buddhist. You deny others their places of worship and honor. The Temple Mount is Jewish. not moslim!
10. Exercise your rights as Jews or lose them to arabs.

12. Why should Jews, only because they are Jewish, should not
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.25.09)
visit in locations in Judea - Jerusalem being part of the Judean region of the country? This demand that Jews should not visit Har Habait (temple mount) rings familiar. It reminds one of Obama's demand that Jews should refrain from residing in certain neighborhoods, in certain towns and villages only because of their Jewishness. In both cases we face racism, anti-Jewish racism, and this should not be permitted.
13. No logic......
Eliyahu ,   Yrushalayim   (10.25.09)
in allowing non-Jews to walk on or near where the Beit Hamikdash stood but not allow Jews too. Its a shame the nefashot of theTorah observant, the eternal Beit Hamikdash, can't visit the location of the physical projection.
14. the rights to pray at the temple mount
sandy ,   gold coast australia   (10.26.09)
Jews have the right to go to the temple mount to pray with out violence from arabs ..after all...the jews own Israel and the Temple Mount is in Israel....how pathetic is it if they are now allowed to pray in a place in their won homeland on their own soil....what is this world coming too....Police should be there to help the jews when they go up there to pray and police should be supported when they do go and help the jews do what the jews do best...Pray
15. #2 It is well known what has already come your way
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (10.26.09)
Allegiance to the tribe rather than to the nation, not believing in democracy enough to institute it, shunning female intellectual contributions, allowing polygamy, insisting on patriarchy, institutionalizing religious persecution, ignoring family planning, expecting endemic corruption, tolerating honor killings, seeing no need to vote, and defining knowledge as mastery of the Quran...which makes your society deeply pathological.
16. temple mount
ALANB ,   JNB SOUTH AFRICA   (10.26.09)
to #2. ask your brothers to stop blowing themselves up in your mosques and killing innocent worshippers.you never ever say a word about that. we are not going to destroy your mosque- you kill in the name of god - there is nothing holy about that .
17. the messiah
cristian ,   bs as arg   (10.26.09)
the time has come to ascent to the mount, the messiah is always in zion and hashem finally must show if he really is with his jewish people, the truth must win the war against the lie, shalom alejem.
18. on the condition that Jews keep His commandments
observer   (10.26.09)
When Solomon had built the temple, had sacrificed and prayed to God, God said to him (I Kings 9:3), "I have heard your prayer and your supplications ... I have consecrated this house," etc.; but then he added shortly thereafter: "But if you turn aside from following me ... and do not keep my commandments ... then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and the house which I have consecrated for my name I will cast out of my sight; and Israel will become a proverb and a byword among all peoples." With an utter disregard for this, they stood and still stand, firm as a rock or as an inert stone image, insisting that God gave them country, city, and temple, and that therefore they have to be God's people or church. They neither hear nor see that God gave them all of this that they might keep his commandments, that is, regard him as their God, and thus be his people and church. They boast of their race and of their descent from the fathers, but they neither see nor pay attention to the fact that he chose their race that they should keep his commandments. They are quick to boast of their law, temple, worship, city, land and government; but why they possess all of this, they disregard.
19. #2:Marwan-I can't hear what you say 'cause I see what you do
JC ,   USA   (10.26.09)
So it's okay for muslims to deface other religions sites but you blame jews who want to worship freely on theirs? Open your eyes & heart to the truth. The Temple Mount was always jewish and muslims could care less if the Dome of Rock wasn't built upon jewish ruins. You face Mecca with your backs to Jerusalem for a reason. May God open your eyes.

21. Temple for All
Michael Amsellem ,   Paris, France   (10.27.09)
If the People of Israel want the world public opinion to adhere to his cause, he should promote the vision of Isaie saying .... The Temple as a house for ALL the Nations... Meaning Christians, Jews and Muslim and more, that way, it will be popular and acurate with our core values and tradition...
22. Jews must be more determined to pray on Har ha-Bayit (2nd)
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (10.27.09)
than Arab terrorists are to stop us; more Jews to insist on our right to pray there than there are Arabs anxious to kill us; relentlessly, over the long haul, not merely an occasion here and there. Where a group is stoned--by police failings--each Jew must be replaced by 2-3 Jews and the police and politicians protested for failing to protect our rights in our own country. We must organize for day-in, day-out insistence protests; especially publishing when and where to meet well in advance to allow Jews from all over Israel--and the world--to participate; not read about it afterward. Use the internet. This is infinitely more worthy than protesting a parking lot or a woman wearing short sleeves. Memorize prayers and psalms so you don't have to carry a sidur. 23. to #18 you got special bible,
ghostq   (10.27.09)
someone played a joke on you cause you miss quat it, have you heard on the cohens and their holy duty? I reckon you haven't. and you just proven jews were in jeruslam 4000 years ago while palis weren't, thank you, and that was the first temple era there was also a second, as for church lol it was during bizantic area not the first temple era as for the jew father Abraham he was also not during second temple era, sheesh muslims r bad with time and sad to say but you try to find excuses and ignoring. the allmighty never abandone his children, even when sometime the miss behave and also never kick them out of the house either. maybe in your society but else where.
24. Jews Have Every Right to Visit Temple Mount
Avi   (10.27.09)
and it is right for this group to go and visit the site. As a consequence of having taken back Jerusalem, they should have full access to it. The site is not only religious but historic as well.
25. Rabbi Yuval Sherlo is correct.
Jed ,   London   (10.27.09)
Rabbi Yuval Sherlo is correct. Rabbi Sherlo demands "equality at the least" between Jews and Arabs visiting the Temple Mount.
26. This isn't going to end well.......
Smith ,   TA, Israel   (10.29.09)
The government should firmly and resolutely condemn this announcement. The government should restate its commitment to previous understandings regarding this religious site. The last thing Israel needs is a holy war. I can pretty much assure you that WE will be perceived as the aggressors and WE will be severely isolated for it. I for one, and there are many like me, are not prepared for Israel to go to war over some mythology whether it be Muslim mythology or Jewish mythology.
27. To JC #19. Jihadists are Rascals, Thugs.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (10.30.09)
Quote :” May God open your (i.e. Jihadists) eyes.” That will not happen, JC. Why not ? Because the Jihadists are rascals, thugs. That’s why God (i.e. Allah) will not open their eyes ; because their (i.e. Jihadists) hearts are empty, dark, foul. The general Muslims (the majority, that is) are sane people, are people with common sense. But the Jihadists (that is the minority, comprising of one or two hundred million) are rascals, thugs, thieves, warmongers. So, the Jihadists should be confronted, battled and eliminated. ONCE again : difference MUST be made between the general Muslims and Jihadists. BTW those Muslims who sympathise with Jihadists should be treated as Jihadists. IN other words, the general Muslims SHOULD distance themselves from the Jihadists.
