(11.04.09)
a single rocket like this ever enters israeli space towards tel aviv or ben gurion airport, i can solemnly guarantee you that gaza will be dust and leveled. do not play with israel. what you saw during cast led will be child's play by comparison. hell with goldstone or not. we are coming fror you should you even attempt to sent this our way. you know it. so be very very afraid.
2. The IDF really said that? o_0
Addle ,   Toronto   (11.04.09)
They must have some really poor standards to believe a rocket that can barely kill anyone let alone, target anything of importance to consider it a threat. Meanwhile, Israeli weapons that kill Palestinian civilians (on almost every round of ammunition) is a grave threat to Palestinians.
3. One day? One day?
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (11.04.09)
Well, let's not wait for that one day. Prosecute the offensive against that terrorist rabble in Gaza the way it should be prosecuted. No quarter. I value Jewish lives over the lives of those who would sell their children to be suicide bombers, and those who would purchase them. To hell with what the rest of the world thinks, or how the joke that is the United Nations may react. Israel is in the business of ensuring the safety and security of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Israel had the courage to go to Uganda to rescue Jews; to destroy the Osirac reactor and to interdict ships and convoys carrying arms to those sworn to destroy us, and now you are experiencing sensitivities about a threat that is right next door? Hello. What planet are you living on? Destroy Hamas. No matter what the political fallout. The world isn't going to be happy unless the State of Israel ceases to exist. Your job is therefore to make sure the world will never be happy,.
4. #1 spare me your sissy threats please
aiman ,   jersey usa   (11.04.09)
we hear the same crap about lebanon, gaza and Iran. let me be the 1st to tell you your people aint doing a damn thing.
5. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (11.04.09)
As opposed to the wonderful job the United States is doing in Iraq? In Afghanistan? Against the resurgent Taliban in Waziristan? Israel did take out the nuclear reactor in Baghdad. Much to then-President George Bush (Sr.)'s dismay. Would have been quite a different Gulf War in 1991 if we hadn't. Perhaps you should be thanking Israel for all those American servicemen and women that did NOT come home in body bags because you didn't have to deal with a nuclear Iraq.
6. Aiman sitting safe in New Jersey talks big
JPS ,   Efrat   (11.04.09)
Sorry, Aiman, but after Lebanon 2 and Cast Lead, what do you think is going to happen if Hamas is stupid enough to fire missiles at Tel Aviv? Read Goldstone: the UN conclusion is that Palestinians committed war crimes by firing rockets at Israeli civilians. That's a justifiable cause for a defensive war. Nasrallah regrets his stupid idea to break international law and attack Israeli soldiers across the recognized border. After his illegal attack accompanied by rockets on our civilians (oh ho! Goldstone defines that as a war crime) Israel struck back hard. After Hamas fired over 10 thousand rockets at our civilians, and said it was going to keep doing so, well, we struck back hard at Gaza. Aiman - are you naive enough to think that we're going to tolerate rockets on Tel Aviv (more Palestinian war crimes) without a massive retaliation? You must have a nice, cozy chair there in New Jersey....
7. one is correct four is

ignoring the cowering hamas army of gaza hiding in rat holes as the idf walked into gaza .the idf used 5%of there military potential this next war will be a repeat of the 1967 blitz over the aqrab worl
8. Sarah B. Cheerleader #1 or Sins is Sins
Dismayed ,   Hell on earth   (11.04.09)
Good lord in heaven, don't you have a job? This website contains almost as much hasbara tripe from you as it does news. Israel is one of the most developed nations in the world, and 60 years on is still effectively pulling the wool over the world's eyes and crying victim while they bash the weak. Who cares if the criminal IDF destroy Gaza as you so gleefully call for, who cares if Eretz Israel comes to be and every Palestinian is erased, who cares if the lessons of history are lost in a fever pitch of wolf crying, self pitying and hysterical hasbara. There's one thing you forget, oh religious zealot that you are, Sarah B - and it's not to pick up your paycheck from Lieberman at the end of the month... It's that everything you advocate, everything you wish for, every time you make public your wish for extermination of the enemy, or even have that private thought in your head... And being the religious zealot that you are - you'd know this already... You're going to hell Sarah. Do unto others etc... Your zealotry blinds you doesn't it. Can't see God for the love of God. The good guys may well lose - you're much bigger, much stronger, much more effective at framing the terms of the issue. PR, Hasbara, legions of mindless bots spamming the internet and slapping each other on the back. You have the US in your back pocket, and the emotional blackmail you wield, not to mention the cluster bombs, makes your victory a foregone conclusion. Everybody, deep inside, knows that, Sarah. But you've missed the point. The law - of your God and mine, of his and of hers. Everything you call for, everything you wish for - whether it comes true or not. You will spend that eternity in Hell. AND, if you're terribly unluck, you'll wind up there before. Laugh it off Sarah. Laugh hard. Wrap yourself in that cleansing flag you've got hanging out the front window, convince yourself that your under siege a bit more - and justify the mass murder of 1100 civilians with the haunting memory of the suicide bombings years ago. Everything can be justified when you're a fundamentalist extremist - oh yes, as much as the enemy you despise. Or take a bath in the cleansing waters of reality, Sarah. And you might be saved, just yet.
9. Still more bitter fruit from monstrous "Disengagement".
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.04.09)
Everyone of us who reads articles like this should remember one thing very well. All of these evils are a direct result of the monstrous evil called "Disengagement". Had we stayed where we belong in Gaza, we wouldn't have any of these problems. In fact, almost all of Israel's problems are a direct result of Israeli retreat and lunatic left wing policies. Patriotic Israelis must take over the reins of leadership as soon as possible and end the lunacy of Israeli concessions and retreat forever.
10. Brave aiman @ 4, what scared you off all the way
leo ,   usa   (11.04.09)
across the pond then?
11. Addle @ 2, tell Palestinians to stop attacking Israel then.

13. GOLDSTONE, the name of new rocket. I like that! Does he?
Barbara ,   UK   (11.04.09)
14. Reports reaching us indicate the name of the new rocket
Rachel ,   Saronah, Israel   (11.04.09)
stationed in Gaza with the goal of hitting Jewish civilians in Tel-Aviv is "goldstone". How strange. I thought Goldstone intent was to advance peace in the region. Was I wrong?
15. now the arab loving Tel Aviv liberal left are at risk
zionist forver   (11.04.09)
Now its not just a bunch of what are in their eyes trouble making settlers and a few people in some out of the way small town named Sderot. Now the liberal Tel Aviv residents who think that diplomacy should always be the only option are in the firing line. When a rocket lands in Kikar Rabin next to Rabins memorial are they going to be calling on the government to take military action or restart the peace process? Its also good to see the IDF understand that despite Goldtstone the best defense is always a good offence aand are preparing for Cast Lead round 2.
16. Violation of UN Charter Article 51.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.04.09)
Israel is a sovereign and democratic state with an obligation, and not just a right, to defend its citizens from armed aggression. Gaza has for years been used by Hamas and other groups as a base for rocket strikes on Israeli centres of population. There have been thousands of such attacks, putting hundreds of thousands of Israeli civilians at risk. These are, as Human Rights Watch has put it, unlawful and unjustifiable, and they amount to war crimes. To understand what it means to live under rockets threat consult : http://xrl.us/bfq9oi

Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (11.04.09)
"addled" and certainly a mark of shame for Canadians.
18. Addle in Toronto
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (11.04.09)
Meanwhile, Israeli weapons that kill Palestinian civilians (on almost every round of ammunition) is a grave threat to Palestinians. How would you know? Do you just pull these facts out of the air or do they just slowly percolate in that head of yours. As to the quality of the rockets or what they are or are not hitting, that is beside the point. You can say in your ignorance that they are not hitting anything important and are not a threat but let me tell you...every square inch of Israel is important. If those missiles could and would reach Toronto even someone like you just might begin to fathom that they are a threat. Today it is Israel under the gun, tomorrow it could be Canada or anywhere else.

22. To: No. 8
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (11.04.09)
Of course I have a job. I'm an attorney. I also have an avocation, which is, quite simply, countering the tripe spouted by posters like you. "Hasbara," eh? Okay, now I know where you are coming from. By the way -- I'm Jewish. There is no "hell." That's a Christian invention, as is "heaven," necessary, I suppose, in a religion that does not encourage independent thought. Thanks for your input. I shall give it absolutely all the consideration it merits.
23. To: Leo at No. 12
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (11.04.09)
You are quite right and thank you for the correction. Obviously, I should have said "then-Vice President George Bush." From what I'm given to understand, he was absolutely livid with Israel, though, so that part is correct. Thank you again.
24. I was wondering of the name of the new rocket. "Goldstone"
Barrie ,   Formerly South Afric   (11.04.09)
seems to be perfect. He must be very proud to have his name etched into the rockets that are designed to hit the Jewish children of Tel-Aviv.
25. addle 2
aline ,   israel   (11.04.09)
You have a nerve! Wonder what you would do if a rocket hit your home. Who says the rockets don't kill? your propaganda? We in Israel are more used to being attacked (unfortunately) and we are more organised (shelters etc...), sometimes it is sheer luck (or someone watching over us from above who knows?).
26. Shoot one rocket at Tel Aviv,we take
Eric.... ,   Israel.....   (11.04.09)
Gaza back and turn it into a beautiful pleasure resort. With hotels and casinos. Then there will be peace.Hamas dont shoot rockets its a big mistake .What ever we do to protect Israel, the world condemns Israel.Soo we have nothing to lose .Soo shoot hamas.
27. To Sarah:
Wildmandxb ,   M.E.   (11.04.09)
Sarah , i missed you so much where the hell have you been! So you are an attorney!? Don't you think it's a little bit too much for an attorney to spit hatred and condone killing of innocent people, who ever they maybe? wouldn't that be called hypocracy? isn't this against the ethics of your job? Reading the TB of that guy at #8, what he wrote makes sense after all, what do you think?
28. Hamas will do Irans will .. as will Hizbollah!
RJBH ,   Methil   (11.04.09)
I welcome the new missiles as part of the defence that the Gaza Prison camp needs against its enemies. It will also help in the retaliation of any strike against Iran .. No Doubt Hezbollah will also be similarly equipped to help with Irans Retaliation. In the mean time Iran has time to work on its own defence requirements.
29. GOLDSTONE rockets official name!

(11.04.09)
if "we people are not doing a damn thing", as you say, why then are you insisting that israelis be brought to the hague for war crimes??? if we really "didn't do anything" in gaza during cast lead, why all the war crimes complaints??????????? we demolished gaza and its capacity to send missiles out way. notice the quite and lack of missiles from gaza and hamas???? what does it tell you? that we didn't do anything????? we did plenty. this is why there are no missiles raining on us now. regarding lebanon in 2006. "you people ain't doing a damn thing" not quite so. we destroyed dahiye, the hizbullah strong hold, to such an extent that nasrallah is still hiding in a cave and shaking, the only thing he can do is speak through a television screen and not show his face in public too much. if we really didn't do anything, then why is he afraid to come out and still lives like a roach in hiding? it's been almost 4 years since 2006 war on hizbullah...and trhe border is quite precisely because we did everything. we dismantled their section in beirut and lebanon sustained a huge damage, esoecially hizbullah. notice that they were not elected to lead in the government in lebanon and rafik hariri won??? why do you think that is, moron! because israek did what it did and nasrallah said that had he knows israel will be doing what it did, he would have never kidnapped and killed the israeli soldiers taken from ISRAELI LAND. hameed aboughaze, iranian i love israel. very strong and rightful country. very modern. very misunderstood.
