Regiment commander, troops questioned on Gaza war     Hanan Greenberg
1. Only one answer...
REBUILD Gush Katif! Heck then, Israel can't get into any more trouble =)
Mark Kleiman ,   Florida USA   (11.04.09)
2. The Goldstone report is working.
Sooner or later, Israel had to make a better reaction to its questionable tactics rather then dismiss all claims as "antisemitic". Now if they investigate the over 10 000+ soldiers who participated in the massacre, then we might see progress.
Addle ,   Toronto   (11.04.09)
3. the great Gaza campaign showtrials
When the silkworm missiles start dropping on Tel Aviv and Rehovot, not to mention Dimona and the naval bases north of Gaza, will they question the troops then????
Mark ,   USA   (11.04.09)
4. All wars that Israel has waged have been just, forced ...
All wars that Israel has waged have been just, forced upon it by the Arab leaders. War involves life-and-death situations; mistakes are made and innocents inevitably die. But in maintaining our moral standards, we should never forget that the IDF is an army of the people and we are also obliged to ensure that we do not go to the other extreme and endanger the lives of our soldiers by preventing them from defending themselves. As to the blood libels against Israel and the IDF : http://xrl.us/be8dzf
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.04.09)
5. What absurdity! the arabs want Israel to fight as if war is
a tea party but they want to hide terrorists among civilians, gutless cowards that they are.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.04.09)
6. I wonder why....
the questioning had to wait till now? Did the police just found out about possible misdeeds or is it that Israel's conscience works only when under duress?
Marco ,   Spain   (11.04.09)
