2. Hamas is intent on annihilate Israel at once; Fatah, in
stages. Hamas would impose an Islamist state then between the Jordan River and the Sea; Fatah on the other hand be pleased to have a Syrian or Egyptian type regime in the same geographic area.

3. An end to the idiological devision, when Egypt takes over
Gaza, and Jordan the West Bank. The Oslo process has been tested and failed. Therefore, the Arab states and Israel should return to UN 242 and finish their job of implementing it.

5. With all due respect to Fatah and Hamas, and there is none,
now that Yasser Arafat is dead and Mahmoud Abbas is about to retire is probably an excellent opportunity to ask: Is there a place for the Palestinian Authority?
The entire peace process between Israel and its Arab neighbours, it must be noted, has been based on UN Security Council Resolution 242, including the signed peace agreements between Israel and Egypt and Israel and Jordan.
UNSC Resolution 242 does not mention at all concepts such as "Palestine", "Palestinians" or a "Palestinian state". And indeed, it does not call for the establishment of any additional state between the River and the Sea at all.
UNSC Resolution 242 does call upon Israel, however, to withdraw its troops from "territories" - not all of them!!! - captured during the defensive Six-Day War of June 1967 to "secure and recognized boundaries", and it does recognize the vitality of each of the states that took part in the conflict (Six-Day War).
Clearly, implicit in the Resolution is that Egypt should assume control over most of the Gaza Strip and Jordan over most of the West Bank and each should incorporate these territories back into their own respectively, doing so through talks and agreements with Israel and for the benefit of all.
Perhaps this is the way and time to proceed: Apply UN Security Council Resolution 242 as is, now, don't you think?
P.S. Note, Jordan may not, according to 242, apply its rule over all of the West Bank. Those areas considered by Israel as necessary for security and national retention will be incorporated into Israel and simply ruled by it, e.g. Jordan Valley, mountain tops.

6. #5 ,thisi is how the majority of Israeli think ,you got it
“Those areas considered by Israel as necessary for security and national retention will be incorporated into Israel”
Yeah,…. Every think should be at the will of Israel .where is a water resource, top hill, good and rich land for agriculture or where it could be found the remaining bones of a jew lived 2000 year ago should stay under Israeli authority. Golan heights, Lebanon territorial water and sky a well should be included in any future peace agreement. (Israeli pilots need a training field s don’t they?) The left over, hot and dry territory can be handed to Egypt and Jordan with millions of Palestinian refugee on the top what they have already. …This is how the majority of Israeli think you got it buddy.

8. "Yeah,...every thing should be at the will of Israel". No,
not so at all.
What is proposed here is to do things based on the will of the UN, the same UN that a few years after it met and decided 242, its General Assembly voted in infamous "Zionism=Racism" resolution, condemning the non-violent national liberation movement of the Jewish people.
The real problem, however, is the fact that the Muslim-Arab leadership, Palestinian and otherwise, refuses to recognize the right of the UN member state of Israel to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people, and refuses to see in an accord of peaceful coexistence the end of conflict.
Perhaps the poster should address himself to this fundamental predicament and the real cause of the Arab Israeli conflict and not to various symptoms of it.

complied with the will of the UN? America used over 50 vetos against UN resolutions condemning Israeli actions since its creation. This is the way UN being compiled by vetos!!! You will say there were unfair and biased resolutions .right? of course the whole world is wrong and has only one objective is to harm Israel to kill jews , everybody is anti Semite and waiting the opportunity to attack jews were the peace loving and the only just country on the Earth America comes to rescue .Very convincing and believable friend. America is ruled by the Jew and this is not a secret, so what goes around comes around.
“Perhaps the poster should address himself to this fundamental predicament and the real cause of the Arab Israeli conflict and not to various symptoms of it.”
The real cause of the arab- Israeli conflict is the occupation. All Arabs countries including PLO and the “evil Hamas “ agreed to compromise with Israel, and the generous peace plan offered by the Saudi in 2002 of full peace and recognition of Israel including economic and political ties was trashed in the garbage bin by Israeli .You Israeli are professional in modifying the facts .
