My # 1 reason as to why Israel should keep Golan is true and you are right about one thing. It is not right to steal, so the Syrians should pay rent to Israel for the time that they occupied Golan. Israel has fought the Syrians more than once over this soil, even as far back as the days of the first temple. King Ahab of Israel defeated Ben-Hadad I of Damascus over Golan. Israel fought the Romans over this soil and lost it in the year of our lord 67AD. There have been no less than twenty five ancient synagogues excavated in Golan.
