1. Selfish Barak spends lavishly for himself from our taxes
while Shas is criticized for demanding money for Yeshivot, child allowance and the poor.

3. Ask this fat ass to pay back the state of Israel
for all the perks and expenses he engaged while 50% of Israelis find it difficult to live on their salaries not considering the unemployed , the sick and the retired people .

4. Why couldnt he stay at the embassy?
It has more than enough security, its Israeli property so no extra costs?
We need to have rules where the state provides a budget for certain trips and has a list of hotels but if the MK doesn't like any of those hotels they are welcome to go anywhere else but they must pay the difference in price out of their own pocket.
That way he can stay anywhere he wants but its guaranteed to be within a certain budget and if they choose to stay somewhere more expensive and pay the difference if its coming from their own pocket there is no contreversy.

5. To Avi at # 2
Taking responsibility, in this case its just words, puka puka ,doesnt cost a penny. Our public representatives should be required to act like anybody else on a buisness trip ie within a known budget or allowances and backed up with GENUINE receipts. Hotels according to rank, and in accordance with the countries wealth.Enough already with these ego maniacs.

6. what the .... ?
are you serious ? kol ha kavod israel .. this is a huge general who served his country well and spended the money while doing so .. you should should learn from the Palestenian authority people how to spend larger amounts of money without any one asking why , or how much .. over here a small ranking officer will spend larger amount and steel the rest on the name of fighting the occupation or a diplomatic misiion ( which is almost always a failuer) .
Israel ,,, you should respect your leaders and look where would be for know if you had ones like the ones we have

7. If the show is going on for 50 years why no preplanning?
Most of the problem here is because they did not plan ahead and got stuck with bad terms and conditions.
As they know the dates of the show more than a year in advance they should have reserved rooms (at a reasonable rate) in advance and not been caught in a last min. mess.

8. #5 Philip i agree
your right , that money could be better spent on those who need it, not supplying mr Barak with luxurious hotel suites. Maybe its all those army years sleeping in tents, well hes certainly making up for it now !

These are empty words...the necessary deed is to return the overexpense to the account of the Ministry of Defence...but our politicians are masters of words and not of deeds

13. Barak & Luxury Hotels
This fat plug is ordering Jews to be thrown on the street and their homes demolished while he lounges in luxury hotels--this is so far beyond disgusting! I suggest he be given and army-issue sleeping bag and tent for his next trip--even that is more than he deserves.

Find a plot of land and pitch a tent.
