33. This is not the first case.Recently a pregnanat women died
at the border for the same reason .many cases to count. Israeli do not consider Palestinian belong to human race.
Why there is no hospitals in Gaza?Did Israel leave any hospital in Gaza without being bombarded in the allegation it is a weapon depot for Hamas!. It is not a bureaucracy as some trying to justify ,it is a policy for mass punishment .soon Israel will be qualified beyond apartheid state with all the daily harassment ,humiliation turning the daily live Palestinian real hell.In West Bank only with the territory of few square Km there is more than 500 check points and barrages.

34. #21 I do not belong to a so called cult.
I am proud to be a Jewess, and living in my homeland. The first hospital in this country was built and run by Jews, When we returned here we built hospitals and treated many, we turned desert into arable land, we built roads and decent drainage systems. purified water that we give to Gaza. We have always treated the Arabs with the same equality (even though they politically deny it to suit the Mulahs) Our money is spent were it should be helping people, not only in Israel but across the world. Our Doctors are amongst the greatest and most compassionate in the world. Even during the war - when I visited the hospital not far from Gaza, there were Gazans being cared for - for nothing. So don't get confused that we are a cult. We were before Christians and Muslims. Mohammed's wives were Jewish,
which according to our law makes his offspring so.
Jesus and his brothers and sister and his ancestors were all Jewish. AND they lived in Israel. Don't make assumptions. about our faith, when yours is so obviously flawed.

35. #24 You are a funny man
First of all, I really feel bad for Samir, he seemed like a nice guy.
Secondly, Nablus is Israel, not Palestine. Thirdly, he did receive clearance, but supposedly he arrived late. My conclusion is, perhaps the Palestinian Doctors are not that good and that's why he died? But you know what, let's blame it on Israel anyways.

36. #30 - Ezra and the "occupied WB"...
Every Israeli knows that the "WB" is actually Judea and Samaria. Judea as in "land of the Jews" and Samaria as in "land of the Samaritans".
And where exactly do Arabs play in here?
FYI, we have continually lived in this land long before the rise of Islam and Arab colonialism. If there is anyone occupying anybody here, it is the Arabs occupying us. This means we have a right to resist their brutal, 1300 year old occupation.
Don't end the occupation of Palestine, end the occupation called Palestine.

hands. Well if that's the case, why not blame him? Why get upset because they were going against allah's will by trying to get this guy a new heart when according to the brother, allah wanted him dead all along?? Why do they give allah the credit when they use his name in commiting acts of terror, but blame everyone else when allah wants to take their life away from them? 40. #2 Ben - Gaza does have hospitals
The problem is that Israel will not allow needed medical supplies into those hospitals. Also many hospitals are severely damaged due to Israeli bombardment. It is almost impossible to repair the damage since Israel refuses to allow materials for rebuilding into Gaza whether by land, sea or air.
The family was not requesting that this Al-Nadim be treated in Israel but in their own land in Nablus.
Shame on those who bear some measure of responsibility for Al-Nadim's death. I'm afraid he won't be the last to die.

45. Do you know ...
That Jews have opened a hospital in Tel Aviv in 1920 ? That there were already health care centers in the country , also opened by Jews before that ? That the first Jewish universitary hospital was opened in Jerusalem in 1939 . This all , and much more , before our independance and without the hundreds of millions of dollars gaza and the palestinian "authority" received .
That this man died is of course sad , administration can make "errors" , but who is to blame here if not the terrorist hamas ?

46. Surgery Okay delayed,
Israel's borders. My dear, Israel has no official border or has never had any. Israel has simply stolen the land from the Palestinians and if this is not enough, they are stealing their water, their freedom and dignity. If I had not visited the Occupied Territories, I would never have thought that a population that has suffered so much is acting in such a crual way in the 21st century. Shame on your mean government.

"Shame on those who bear some measure of responsibility for Al-Nadim's death. I'm afraid he won't be the last to die."
Shame on those who would sell their children to be suicide bombers, and on those who would purchase those children. Shame on those who would launch missiles into Israel's population centers on a daily basis for eight years. Shame on those who would put ammunition dumps next to schools and cache weapons in hospitals (thereby making them legitimate military targets). Shame on those who would hide behind women, children and the elderly. Shame on Hamas.
"The family was not requesting that this Al-Nadim be treated in Israel but in their own land in Nablus."
Here you go again with the "own land" nonsense. I guess you did not read the treatise I posted for your benefit. It wouldn't hurt you to read the treatise in its entirety, or you can scroll down to the section titled "Law on Israel's Takeover of 1967 Lands." Read both subparagraph 1 and 2 -- the first examines the issue under Security Council Resolution 242 (and confirms what I have told you that it is neither binding nor enforceable, as it was issued under Chapter Six of the United Charter, and not Chapter Seven). The second section discusses Acquisition of Non-Sovereign Land in a Defensive War and concludes that international law does not preclude Israel from retaining AND settling Judea and Samaria and, in fact, fully supports Israel’s right to do precisely that.

Hey, when is Belgium going to give the Flemands their independence? They've yearned for it going on several centuries, and the Walloon governments have repressed them ruthlessly.
So pleased you visited Judea and Samaria. The Palestinians really have turned the PA areas into a pigsty, but the leadership has been way too busy building grand homes and purchasing even grander second and third homes in Europe, not to mention opening extremely hefty offshore bank accounts. The Palestine Authority has been the recipient of hundred of billions of dollars and hundreds of billions of euros, with nothing to show for it except one of the highest unemployment rates in the world, a disintegrating infrastructure and rampant inflation. Evidently, the PA does not care all that much about the Palestinian people. They wanted autonomy and they got it. With absolutely nothing to show for it except, as I said, fancy homes and big bank accounts for the top leadership. You can blame Palestinian "siffering" on their corrupt leadership, not Israel. When Israel controlled all of Judea and Samaria, any Arab that wanted to work could do so in Israel proper. The PA has not filled the void; they have done nothing to create jobs or attract foreign investment.
Ever see what the aftermath of a suicide bombing looks like? The street runs red with blood, limbs are strewn about and the screams of the dying haunt the soul. That's the legacy of your precious Palestinians -- violence, murder, more violence, more murder.
Six wars (all started by Arabs) and sixty-one years of Palestinian terror and their brutal murder of Jews have taken their toll on the measure of compassion available to me. The Palestinians sowed the wind long ago; now it is time to reap the whirlwind.

You know, almost every Palestinian in Judea and Samaria can produce an old rusty key; no one can produce a deed. Mostly because THEY NEVER LIVED THERE AND ARE SQUATTERS.
Moreover, the Kingdom of Judea and the Kingdom of Israel date back almost 5,000 years, not 2,000.
You had a splendid idea, though: so, when is the government of Canada going to hand back the lands it stole from the native Amerind tribes? I do really like the idea. Israel can claim the borders it had -- oh, even 2,000 years ago -- which will make it roughly the size of present-day Iraq.

So let the construction materials in via Gaza's border with Egypt. Better still, have Hamas refrain from using hospitals to cache weapons and as military command posts, thereby making the hospital a legitimate military target.

You are the first person to say that parents sell their children to be suicide bombers. You make it sound like every day Palestinian kids are going into Israel with bombs strapped around their small stomachs. Sarah, it just isn't so no matter how many times you repeat this canard. Yes, there have been a few, a very few, children that have attempted suicide bombing but please, my dear, let everyone know your proof of parents being paid.
As for your contention, specious at best, that the territories are not occupied let me remind you that Ariel Sharon himself referred to the territories as occupied. Furthermore, UN Security Council Res 446 adopted on March 22, 1979 "determines that the policy and practices of Israel in establishing settlements in the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied since 1967 have no legal validity and constitute a serious obstruction in achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East."
Finally I could add a long list of shames but there is enough shame on both sides to go a long, long way.

53. Sarah tell me please
I have searched the Hague Conventions and the Avalon project, which I found before you listed it as one of your sources, as well as other resources and have yet to find any legitimate document that states that Israel has a right to retain the occupied territories and to settle its citizens in those territories.
If I am wrong please do not send me another URL to a document that proves nothing.
Your latest referral is purely an analysis by one person and does not represent the consensus of the international legal community.
Also since you seem to believe, as do few others, that UN Res. 242 is not binding, then you must agree that UN General Assembly Res. 181, the partition resolution, was also not binding since General Assembly resolutions are not binding. Therefore Israel cannot claim that there really was a legitimate partition of the land.

You wrote that the Palestinians have turned the PA areas into a pigsty.
Have you been to the settler areas of Hebron? Now there is a real pigsty. The Palestinians have had to hang netting so that the trash and feces that the settlers throw from their windows at passing Palestinians does not land on them or on the street below. Now those settlers are the real pigs. Go look for yourself and don't talk about others.

No normal Belgian will visit those territories . By normal i mean "not politically motivated" . And of course you believe everything they told you , every "mise en scene" they showed you .
Stolen land ? from who ? Their freedom ? who's at fault here if their movements are limited sometimes ? Are'nt you in Belgium checking "wrong faces" more than "good" ones ? Why is your police fearing to come in some neighborhoods from Brussels or Antwerp ? Why has this VB party so much succes in Antwerp , if not because people there fear those "friends" of you ?
Look at the Arabs in Israel . They enjoy more liberties than in any other Arab country , not to talk about their life quality . They are poorer ? yes , maybe , but we have also a vast quantity of poor Jews here .
I will not talk about the problems you face , the BHV is one of them , they are not related and i will not react to a bad informed one .

My, my. You are NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer.
You asked for links -- I gave you links.
You asked for support that acquisition of non-sovereign territory while fighting a defensive war is fully legal -- I sent you a treatise written by the ranking scholar in international law and the interpretation of the Hague Conventions, and you reject it as being a single person's view (it isn't, by the way).
You started tossing around references to Security Council Resolution 242 -- I pointed out to you that it is irrelevant because Resolutions passed under Chapter 6 of the United Nations Charter are not binding and not enforceable; you rejected that and asked for proof and I provided it.
As concerns UN General Assembly Resolution 181, you are (of course) again wrong. Once Britain's mandate ended, the territory it had governed had no status. Resolution 181 applies status, creating two states, one Jewish, one Arab -- the Arabs rejected that, and went to war instead. They lost. The Jews accepted the resolution. Since the Arabs didn't and Israel was the victor in 1948, the entirety of the territory defaults to Israel.
Your hatred for the Jewish people and Israel is so intense, you refuse to accept anything but the standard Hamas and Hizbollah party line.
That makes you stupid. I do not waste my time on stupid.
You were born too late. Seventy years ago, you'd be goose-stepping and shouting Sieg Heil. Perhaps you do that anyway.
