HA has more than 80,000 rockets in it arsenal. Some can hit Tel Aviv and some can hit Dimona. What poses a serious threat to israel is that HA already has air to ground missiles. Another Ron Arad anyone?

This article is about Israel's purely defensive system. It is normal and obvious right of every country in the world to have and develop defensive systems, especially in light of such radicalist creatures like Hizbullah who run parallel states and play with sovereignty of Lebanon for the sake of geopolitics of Iranian regime...

This is not going to deter anyone. If they fire enough rockets no system can stop them all at once. Deterrence is when the enemy fears you, and since Muslims don't value human life more than camel life, it's pretty hard to deter them. Building defense systems and shelters, hiding underground while their bombs fall on our cities, crying at the hateful UN - this only deters Jews from coming to live in Israel.

If Lebanon was foolish enough to use even a fraction of it's purported 80K missles, the Israelis would retaliate with 3 or 4 nuclear weapons. Israel would be hurt but Lebanon would be obliterated.

We need not walls, but to destroy our enemies will to attack us.

I hope that in the next war (that is surely to come) Israel will be able to systematically destroy all of lebanese villages through aerial bombardment. Most of Hisbolla rockets are stored in warehouses and would be destroyed in the first attack. Tipi will have fun. :)
