ok - its time for the christians of denmark to speak out against these "socialists" (who should maybe volunteen on a kibbutz to see true socialism) During the cartoon riots - jews all over the world bought extra danish cheese - and lots of it - dont reward the arabs who boycotted you - by boycotting us
4. Mitzpe Shalem.
Birdi ,   Israel   (11.18.09)
The Dutch Government should learn to read a map, as the kibbutz, Mitzpe Shalem is in the International boundry line;which means its in Israel proper.
5. If it doesnt belong to Israel who's is it?
Yoni ,   Tel Aviv   (11.18.09)
So it doesnt belong to Israel they say than which country does it belong to? It cannot belong to a people with no national body so it can't be the Palestinian people since there is no such thing. There may be people who were living there but please remember this used to be Jordans land. Are they saying that it should say made in Jordan instead of made in Israel? Are they attempting to make up a new country to put on the label of skin products? Get it through your head there is no Palestine. It's not a country.
6. yes i agree
rashid ,   palistinian   (11.18.09)
with the turmoil that is going on in this world from iran atomic thing and saudia pounding yamani civilians day and night and the economic situation believe me and shooting and killing and starving all over the world the dutch decided to check if some salt was produced a little north or south of this point or that point thank you dutch for getting your priorities in order you nation of muppets.

Rashid, You should be the one replacing Abbas!
8. Step in right direction
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (11.18.09)
The investigation of Ahava products and possible restrictions on them is a step in the right direction. Actually, however, all of the territory of so-called Israel is occupied land. The world needs a total economic, commercial, cultural, and academic boycott of that illegitimately-existing entity.
9. The Dutch love Ahava!
Mark Jansen ,   Utrecht, Netherlands   (11.19.09)
I am Dutch and I can say we Dutch love Ahava. Our pharmacies are now starting to sell it! The opinions of a lunatic left wing politician are totally irrelevant!
10. #6
Mark Jansen ,   Utrecht, Netherlands   (11.19.09)
At least we are not an invented nation, but a real one. Besides, you life of our handouts, so a little more respect please!
11. The Dutch
carlos ,   San Diego U.S.A.   (11.18.09)
These European ex-colonialist ex-nazi racist collaborators want to be "relevant" and in the public foreign policy forum. They should stop. They are nobody. They should respect the sovereignty of Israel.
12. Gush Shalom advice
Joe Klien ,   USA   (11.18.09)

15. http://www.buycottisrael.ca/
Ruth ,   Los Angeles CA USA   (11.19.09)
Buycott Israel is a joint project under the coordination of the Canada-Israel Committee. We aim to support Israel by encouraging the purchase of products and services from Israel. Purchasing Israeli-made merchandise is a great way to send a positive message. Buycott Israel will also help you combat boycott and/or divestment campaigns against Israel. We will alert you to BDS efforts and give you the tools to fight back
16. Ahava Boycott
NYC Girl   (11.19.09)
Maybe if the Palestinians and their sycophantic Euro-trash supporters invested just a fraction of the time and energy on building their society as they do on their apoplectic frenzy over some Israeli cosmetic products, the world would be a far better place. And as far as that Dutch parliamentarian is concerned, has he investigated whether his country is importing products from any of the real human rights hell holes around the world or from countries that employ child labor...or is it only Israel that's a problem for them?
17. yet another non-story...
Danny   (11.19.09)
Two far left organisations make up yet another lie about a "boycott" to generate press releases and idiot churnalists uncritically lap it up
18. #3 - um.. don't paint us miamians as ignorant
zionist ,   miami   (11.19.09)
Buying Danish cheese doesn't help the Dutch in Holland much. Holland and Denmark are different countries.
19. other investigations
misha clebaner ,   usa   (11.19.09)
90% of chocolate is collected by slaves in the ivory coast, does holland investigate into this? or into diamonds? lets be realisitic. most products come at the expense of someone else. even if ahava was in west bank, which it isnt... holland shows its true anti-semitic colors by singling out israel. personally, i dont think anyone takes them seriously anymore. how can they even claim to be a caring nation when one of their members of house of representatives (geert wilders) is a fervant islamo-phobe.
20. From The People Who Handed Over Anne Frank To Be Murdered
David H ,   Marietta USA   (11.19.09)
I don't like Ahava products, and now, thank you Holland, I am going to be forced to buy the stuff, in bulk, along with the Danish butter cookies I love and need like a hole in the head! There was a time when the Dutch had a modicum of common sense and decency, and came to grips with their fathe's' atrocious acts during World War II. No longer, alas, we are back to ground zero. These once tolerant, live and let live people are reverting to a nation of anti-Semites very rapidly. I can only wonder how their men will react when the Arabs take full control of that once pleasant little country and orders their forced conversions. It is going to hurt, a lot, and will be well deserved.
21. return holland to the sea
arthur ,   jersey city NJ USA   (11.19.09)
the Gotts, swedes gauls norse etc. The dutch borders are suspect. How about returning them to French Catholic rule
22. The Dutch have always been true supporters of the Nazis.
Baruch   (11.19.09)
and they will not change for 1000 years more. It is a wonder that we care, Holland will be taken over by radical Islamists soon anyway so it makes no difference what they wine about, they are doomed to destruction
23. I don't get #3
Swiss   (11.19.09)
What do Danish cartoons have to do with Dutch boycott attempts? Both countries have close to nothing in common apart from being small.
24. carlos
dutch ,   the netherlands   (11.19.09)
carlos you ignorant generalizing fool. the netherlands are a great friend of israel and Maxime Verhagen has more than once shown this. as for your description of the dutch think, learn and become wiser before you speak. and relax a bit. the world is not in black and white.
25. I am buying a whole bunch of Ahava stuff!
Aviva ,   Jerusalem   (11.19.09)
I can buy it at the local SuperPharm. I especially love their new botanical body wash. I think I will get one in each different fragrance! Oh, and I love the moisturing cream too.
26. hahahha since when the dead sea is
ghostq   (11.19.09)
palis teritory. hahaha
27. to #6 no just trying to find new way
ghostq   (11.19.09)
to bash at Israel, all the Arab leaders do that only the masses of people don't realize that, they take your money make you misserable and divert your frustration to Israel hatred, in reality they take your money.
28. Here we go Again!
David P. ,   Central Coast, USA   (11.19.09)
How well did the Dutch comply with Germany during World War II, let's just say they 'disproportionately' shipped more then any other European nation!

30. Dutch Chocolates are turning sour.
Michael Gorinsky ,   Delray Beach Florida   (11.19.09)
With The Massive Mistake of allowing Muslim Immigration to Holland and its rapid birth increase that came along with it Holland is caught in a corner which She does not know how to get out of. If Holland is smart and stops this immigration, and soon to save itself then its foreign policy may very well change. I beleive that the Christian and Jewish Population of Holland are fed up with these aggressive Muslims who want to take over everything. The "Ahava Beauty" controversy is an attempt once again to appease the rapidly growing Muslims in Holland. What a pity. A good , Brave People being caught in such a quagmire.
