Labor has no flavor or scent. There are one or two good people there that believe in the old concept of labor. The last leader that they had that really represented the ideal was Mitzna and he was eaten alive by the old soldiers, although he was one himself. One of the ugly and dangerous new traditions is the old soldiers going from the Army into politics. The two need very different mindsets.

Mr. Barak is a competent military administrator and Israeli general. But, his politics are secular and his personal style egotistical and unwarm. He severely lacks schmaltz and Yiddishkeit.

Finally, some common sense words by Barak to the elitist bleeding heart liberals of Labor, who represents their ideas rather then that of the majority of the working middle class in Israel. Keep up the good work, Barak. Sam
