Fayyad: Eastern border of Palestine is Jordan    Ali Waked
1. Jordan ?
Hey Mr Fayyad, jordan is not the border of palestine. Jordan was given to palestinian arabs. Please vacate Israel and move to your home land. Hasamite kingdom is occupying your land.
Arul   (11.22.09)
2. Arab Mindset
The Arabs are stuck deep in a mindset which will never grant them peace. They repeat "occupation" as their key buzzword forgetting that a) it was the Arabs who started the war in 1967 - and lost, and b) there never was a so-called Palestinian state on the West Bank of the Jordan. In fact, this land was partitioned as the Jews' territory, not the Arabs. That the Arabs attacked Israel in 1967 and lost, lost them all rights to reclaim anything Israel won in that war. What Chutzpah do they have to demand this land "back"! The Arabs grind and regrind this word "occupation" forgetting that the original settlers of this land, at least those that have a claim going back well over 3000 years, are the Jews. Significant Arab presence in this land only goes back a few hundred years, if that, and then only very spotty. If anyone is an occupier, it is them.

4. The WESTERN Border Of "Palestine" Is The Jordan River
With Amman as their capital. And if they insist on trying to steal OUR land, then they can't have anything at all.
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (11.22.09)
5. Why didnt they make a Palestine State between1948 and 1967
Alan ,   SA   (11.22.09)
6. I want to win the lottery but that doesn't mean I will
The palestinians can want lots of things but that doesn't mean that they will get it simply because they want it. They need to stop acting like children & realize that if they continue their uncompromising stance they will never get anything but if they make compromises we might just reach an agreement. Declaring a state unilaterally will only hurt their cause rather than help it. Assuming the UN votes in favour that won't solve issues like water or travel between Gaza and Judea & Samaria. War will break out and the only way to end it will be a renegotiation of their borders. Long term it will be a humiliation for them rather than a victory. The arabs are a bunch of fools.

7. eastern border is IRAQ &Saudi Arabia
go back and read the Mandate for Palestine found at avalon yale university web site. http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/palmanda.asp read carefully and then go back to the UN (successor to the league of nations). go back and work it out with abdullah article 25: In the territories lying between the Jordan and the eastern boundary of Palestine as ultimately determined, the Mandatory shall be entitled, with the consent of the Council of the League of Nations, to postpone or withhold application of such provisions of this mandate as he may consider inapplicable to the existing local conditions, and to make such provision for the administration of the territories as he may consider suitable to those conditions, provided that no action shall be taken which is inconsistent with the provisions of Articles 15, 16 and 18.

8. we want this, we want that, gimme this gimme that
What nonsense...this is his free (no money) shopping trip...a window shopping demand of other peoples property...give him another abbass door to exit....if fayaad wants all the lands, let him find a way to pay ISRAEL the 100 billion dollars per dunam it should cost the attackers of Israel to BUY back the arabs stupidly fought war losses from the war on the ISRAELI population. The arabs need to buy back their LO$T lands that they gambled away in their lost war.
jewish doctor ,   atlanta   (11.22.09)
9. They want
They want an arab state...there are a few I think! Only one tiny Jewish state and that they want. What kind of state do they want? They want a state where the world continues to give them money and support. They want, they want, they want....
Mary ,   U.S.   (11.22.09)
10. When Israel will not be threatned from the east the Arabs of
Judea and Samaria will be in a position to consider their autonomous region as reaching to the Jordan River. But sadly, to this day no one in the Arab-Muslim world is willing to accept Israel's legitimacy, despite League of Nations decisions and United Nations resolutions. And when denying Israel's right to be, to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people and the historic background is a continuous attempt to wipe it off the map, off the face of earth, Israel, for security reasons, must continue to hold on the the Jordan River Valley. Mr. Yitzhak Rabin, in his last speech at Israel's parliament, the Knesset, in October 1994, stated among other things: "The Jordan Valley, in its widest definition, will remain part of the state of Israel". Rabin was right for a simple reason: Jews too have the right to live and defend their lives and the Jordan Valley is a region that must not be handed to anyone, including Fayyad & Co.

YES! the WESTERN border of "Palestine" is Jordan.
Sharona ,   Jerusalem Israel   (11.22.09)
14. Lesson in geography
"Mister" Fayyam, eastern border of Israel is Jordan. You seem to need a lesson in basics of geography: - there is Israel and it extends to Jordan in the east and the eastern provinces are disputed since there live also Arabs among Israelis. - there has never existed a state called Palestine though people called Palestinians were founded in 1964 in Cairo, but that is another issue refering to history writing - whether you can found a people or not.
Josef Matamoros ,   Finland   (11.22.09)
15. "We want a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital."
LOL! "WE WANT?" So what? Jerusalem has NEVER been the capital of anythign except of that of the Jewish People and no rat-eating, genocinde-monging cretine can take that - eben if he "wants" it. Jerusalem will NEVER be anything but the UNDIVIDED CAPITAL OF ISRAEL. Whomever claims otherwise, does not want real peace and as such, any negotiations or discussions with that entity is futile, useless and suicidal. Palestinians are welcome to talk peace when they stop dreaming of the destruction of Israel, namely "the right of return", "Jerusalem as a capital" and of course, territorial continuity between the Jordainian West Bank and the Egyptian Gaza! For as long as they dream and talk about that, they are doomed to suffering, poverty and despair.

16. This begging bowl is now empty Mr.Fayad
There is nothing more Israel has to give you. What you are asking is not only unattainable but time has come for you to think clearly THERE IS NO OCCUPATION.In point of FACT it is you who is occupying our Country. Now go back and tell KIng Abdullah this: Don't you think we should all live as true BALESTINIANS(my emphasis on the correct spelling) because there is no"P" in the arabic alphabet, and come over to Jordan? Now that's more like it Mr.Fayad don't you think?
Kate ,   ISRAEL   (11.22.09)
17. Perez an Fayyad
As long as President Shimon Peres – who is supposed to represent all Israelis -- organizes conferences that promote Palestinian sovereignty, and his Peres Center for Peace advocates Palestinian statehood, why shouldn't Palestinians proclaim sovereignty? After the horrible mistakes he commited as a result of his total lack of vision, Peres should keep away of politics and the Media. As to the legitimacy of the Oslo Accords ( 2 parts): http://xrl.us/be232o

18. fayyad believes that if you DEMAND long enough people will
give in. Unfortunately for him, he is dealing with Jews who will not give away their birthright.

20. Reuven on their mindset,and my///
My important point which should be applied without delay.(NOW)! Close down the Philadelphi Crossing to stop the infiltration of weapons so the terrorists benefitting from getting them to attack our towns and cities. As for the occupation mantra:it is getting a bit too boring for words. And of course you are quite correct, and Fayad should remember no such people as arab pals EVER EXISTED.They forget that our history goes back at least 4.500 years and theirs only since 1963 through--- Ratifat's words gymnastics to name them so.Pure fabrication by an egyptian..True Palestinians ARE THE JEWS. Did you say chutzpa? I can go even further and call it THIEVERY OF OUR COUNTRY.

Do you recognise the state of Israel with Jerusalem as its capital also? If not you can to go the place where the sun doesn't shine?
Dan ,   Rehovot, Israel   (11.22.09)
24. Fayyad
Lest we forget who and what this terrorist is, read here: http://townhall.com/columnists/CarolineGlick/2007/08/18/salaam_fayad,_hero_of_israel Fayyad is an unrepentant terrorist. Israel is very well aware of this. Fayyad may fool some of the people some of the time, most of the people most of the time, but Israel knows exactly what he is.
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.22.09)
25. There is no point to any of this
... as long as the assorted flotsam and jetsam that constitute the "Palestinians" repudiate their charters calling for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jewish people and recognize the right of the State of Israel to exist in its ancient homeland with Jerusalem as its sole, eternal and undivided capital. Absent that very minimal quid pro quo, there is no point in discussing anything with anyone. Israel won all the wars; we should not lose the peace. As if peace were even possible given the terrorist rabble that are the Palestinians.

30. HA Ha Ha To Balistan yafa (ISRAEL)
You may laugh or think it is cleverness. Not so. If you are an Arab(and you are) You must know your alphabet. Therefore nothing to laugh about. Also,no such place as Balestine as you put as your address..You will ot get a country in a million years sorry. After all 22 Arab countries is MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ANYBODY to accept and have as enemies surrounding Israel. Who needs a 23rd ?Not us Jews/Israelis.
