4. Mubarak and Especially to Barak. Why,oh why?
Sick to see some of our leaders going like beggars to Egypt.
Who is Mubarak to give orders to our minister ,be it Barak or Peres to stop building anywhere,be it Jerusalem (OUR CAPITAL) or any where else.?
If Mubarak has any beef with our building then WHY DOESN'T HE COME TO JERUSALEM TO HAVE A POW,WOW.Hey,Barak stop being a dhimmi, getback home and deal with Ham-ass's rockets that are still being lobed off into our cities.
|
|
5. "Remove the blockade on the (Gaza) Strip."
I agree that Israel should abide by international law and stop with the collective punishment of the people in the Gaza Strip.
However, Egypt should also do more! They are following Israel's orders - Egypt have closed down the Rafah checkpoint and they support that action by saying that they have an agreement with Israel that only PA can manage the checkpoints.
Step down, Mubarak. It's time for your people - who can't feed themself because your corrupt government - to choose an administration of their own will!

6. OERES HAD NO AUTHORITY TO MAKE THAT COMMENT
PERES IS IN NO POSITION TO MAKE OR JUDGE ON STATE POLICY.
PERES REMAINS AN ADAMANT FOOL FOR HIS VIEWS ON CEDING ANY PART OR ALL OF ISRAEL FOR SOMETHING CALLED peace.... which has never been in the arab plans.

Do you really believe Peres after all these years. He is easily one of the most misleading people in Israel.
I sure dont love Bibi, but at least he is up front about the PALS and the west bank. Peres is a master humbug and pretender.

10. The responsible for the Oslo disaster.
When President Shimon Peres goes over the heads of the democratically elected Government of Israel to propose his own plan to world leaders he is also essentially saying that he has absolutely no respect for the democratic process. Unfortunately, it appears that none of the other international actors has indicated that this behaviour is in any way unacceptable. More about how politics work : http://xrl.us/bfe6mz

11. peres
peres , a long term diplomat and foregin minister, defended israel against the lies of erdogan, one momen tplease, and moussa.however, he is of the school of apppeasers. he asked after the fact why hamas fireed rockets from land vacated by israel. Really? I could have told him that a long time ago. Likewise, he is the first to stop firing if a mishap occurs and he actually presaged olmert in his 2006 war when israel struck a UN compound with some arab kids around and he stopped barak from continuiining because of itnernational protest.
Bibi has to dig in and not wilt under obama pressure on golan, jordan valley and recognition of jewish state.
Peres goes to Egypt and intimidated by egypt tells them what they want to hear. Diplomacy is one thing and it is important. But lying or weakness is another thing. We had enough of olmert and livni cowering in fear, conceding into the wind while thousands of rockets were being fired even after cast lead. When shmutz olmert left, how many missiles have been fired. Less than 10% even when barak was D> Because politically, barak, peres, livni, ramon are weaklings and arabs sense this and go for the kill. Now ben eliezer joins the hall of wimps and goes with cup in hand to turkey begging.
this all makes me sick. Chosen people as the rabbis say-sure-a bunch of wimps and cowards. Lieberman, landau, yaalon and begin are the only fit ones to be PM.

12. peres LOVES failure, he can't get enough of it so he goes
around the world proving people will listen to old men with failed ideas.
He would be of more value to the world by playing with grandchildren than appearing in public.

13. Co-Existence
I'm happy to see Peres talk about co-existence, but peace is a possibility only when Israeli Jews seek co-existence based on true equality rather than domination over the Palestinian minority citizens and military dictatorship over the Palestinians in the territories. Israelis will never achieve peace if it means peaceful domination over others. No people will ever accept such subjugation. We American Jews would never tolerate the inequalities faced by Israeli Arabs, who are far better off than those in the WB and Gaza.

14. Israel's leaders
should stop visiting Mubarak as if he is king of Israel. And they should stop talking about ethnic cleansing of Jews in Judea and Samaria. Clearing outposts is nothing but ethnic cleansing! And they should stop being misled by the wolves on their road of appeasement that will bring more rocket attacks on Israel. Israel must defend every inch of its liberated homeland of Judea, Samaria and the Golan, and start preparing the nation against Iran's long range rocket attacks on Israel and the Ayatollahs' nuke threat. Never repeat the mistakes of ill-preparedness of 1973.

15. Peres

Peres has no mandate to release policy statements. He can and does release Arab terrorists and grant pardons to killers and murderers, as long as they are Muslim.

18. to Dave-#13
For you to come up with such a lunacy indicates a deep and utter ignorance to historical facts, demography&Israels' social structure, as well as simple facts of the so-called palestinian people's origin...Only an alien would blame Israel of unequality. Domination- and why not? Last time, I checked,Israel is still a Jewish State. If the OCEAN of arab countries may be populated by billions of muslims only and no christians & especially Jews ever aloud to live there, while Israel's 6 million population is home for more then 1.5 million arabs, who are free to leave and enjoy every right & duty, the Jews do, why can't Jews be allowed to dominate in their sliver of land and feel at home. YOu talking about WE , American Jews?
You have no clue about your own tolerence and please don't ever say never...It would do you good to look at a map once in your life and read some authentic history before sharing your opinion.

20. To #8
Correct me if I'm wrong - but didn't Egypt close it's border with Gaza Strip one-two years BEFORE they exposed an ALLEGED Hizbollah cell operating in Egypt?
However, my main point is that international law should be applied in all conflicts.
Collective punishment is forbidden.

23. Is Peres P.M. No. 2? Undermining Israel
When will Peres stop playing Prime Minister No.2? It is very very bad for Israel. If it is Netanyahu who asked him to do so, then he should stop. There must be only one voice and Peres must be only a Ceremonial figure
|
|
24. Who voted for Peres? Why is he interfering?
It is bad enough that Obama behaves as if he is in charge of Israel - who needs Peres? He must learn to be ONLY President and not a politician, and he must STOP having these meetings and having press conferences and press releases.
|
|
25. Ora--Canada #24 Who voted for Peres? Why is he interfering?
Ora,can't you see he is rather old, but! Like Jimmy Carter cannot stay out of the limelight and puts his two penneth worth to try.But in doing so,he gives the impression to the terrorist entity Hamas a lifeline too which is a disaster in the making.
There should never be interferences ,unless it is sanctioned by the PM.
Since we don't know te reason how he jumped in the deep end(a very deep one too) we'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
I agree that he is almost acting like O,but at his age he thinks all will be forgiven. Not so, I fear.
My point for what is worth: There should not be any releases until we see Shalit face to face.Even then I would not give hamas any satisfaction and no terrorists going free to return where they can begin their murderous tasks.
Oh they know, they know how Jews/israel values life irrespective of ther thuggish behaviour.
Hope remains eternal We wait and see.
