1. bereaved petitioin
alexi   (11.23.09)
When the gutless duo of olmert and livni gave away 1000 killers for dead bodies, I was in a range. Kuntar should have been eliminated on the spot and I would have done it. You kill israelis, we kill you, eye for an eye. The shalits. I don't blame them, would sell israel for their son. Its natural. So Israel paid a huge price. If shalit is released, then he must be released alive, otherwise haniyeh, zohar and masri should be killed on the spot, on the spot. The pacifists olmert, beilin, and livni are no longer in power so we don't have to deal with their conscience. We had to tell nasrollah that if the prisoners were shipped back dead, then kuntar would be executed on the spot. No olmert wouldn't do that because he doesn't thinnk in logical normal terms. So no one should petition the court because of shalit. When he is released, israel will have done the right thing, and shalits can heal themselves. SAfter that, shalit should not serve in the idf anymore. And if any of the arab prisoners restart terror, they should be eliminated.
2. MERETZ/BARAK/LIVNI YOU ARE denser than rock. 450 released
Jae ,   Lynn US   (11.23.09)
terrorists= 350 who go back to it. 350 who create families with 8 children apiece. 8x350=2800 terrorists in one generation... andso the brain dead left hacks away at the Jewish people and Israel
3. O Hashem, but for a leader with wisdom.... if only.
NeedJewishleadership ,   RealJewspleasestandu   (11.23.09)

Free Gilad Shalit ,   Israel   (11.23.09)

6. The deal
Dr D ,   Jerusalem   (11.23.09)
Think about Shalit parents. He have a chance to start a new life while the Palestinian assassins will never be able to sleep again once out of our prisons. Few sweets and lots of kisses the first few days and then the hell for the disturbing useless Arab heroes in any civilized society.
7. Death penalty should be required in cases of terrorist murde
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.23.09)
The country’s professoriate, which enjoys an intimate relationship with its legal fraternity, long ago dropped any semblance of propriety in its enthusiastic embrace of anti-Zionist causes. In light of the legal and intellectual elites’ pathological refusal to recognize the murderous character of Palestinian terrorists and Israel’s duty to defend its citizens from murderers. It would make sense for the Knesset to circumscribe their authority to adjudicate morality from the bench and the lectern. The Knesset could amend the criminal code to require the death penalty in cases of terrorist murder. More at : http://xrl.us/kj6sj
8. We must free all Jewish political (terrorist) prisoners!
(11.23.09)
9. they don't have any vision,
ghostq   (11.23.09)
they see things in short tearm, but it takes more than some prisoners release to be so call free, ok suppose Israel will release some prisoners, than what, what r they going to do afterward, any idieas? no didn't think so, this situation won't provide them with working places won't improve the economic situation and won't lift the blockad off Gaza, I am afraid this is just false hope, they don't like to be responsible on them selves and hope for one leader to come and save the day, the way to indipendance is to be self ruling witch they kinda miss every time. so in other word declaration is one thing reality is another.

13. a small failure
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (11.23.09)
You wants to condemn Netanyahu for this failure, releasing murderers for one soldier, so they can murder more Jews. On free soldier for tens of corpses and hundreds of widows and orphans isn't worth it. But you can't condemn him, because this is his smallest failure. He agreed to stopping Jewish building in Judea and Samaria for nothing in return, not even a meaningless piece of paper, so now he is negotiating about Gilo. He has started a rebellion in the IDF by appointing the corrupt Ehud Barak who illegally ignores court orders. He continues damaging democracy and the rule of law by playing with the rules for selecting the attorney general. Maybe Netanyahu wants to compete with Olmert for the title of second worse PM after Barak.
14. Bibi, Olmert, Livni, Barak=Leaders??? The same foolish nuts

You folks have the same problem as we do in America. It's hard to find desent leaders to run a government. Strong men who aren't afraid of political correctness or the UN.
16. oo Happy day!... but It seems Israels leaders accept that
RJBH ,   Methil   (11.23.09)
The Palestinian prisoners in Israels jails are indeed POWs. just as Shalit is. Tea man .. Yes indeed, Free all our people.. Can it be that Israel is now desperate to make peace with the Inmates of Gaza in order to prepare itself for War with Iran?.. Just a Thought.
