Its amazing how heads of sections at the Israeli Universities can call for boycotting their own country and nothing is done to them. But when the Government uses the army ILLEGALLY against their own civilians and someone speaks up its a problem. What has happened to this country?

Ehud Barak has power now only because PM Netanyahu foolishly elevated this man to defense minister. Wasn't it Barak who abandoned our SLA allies and fled southern Lebanon? One day Mr. Barak will stand trial in Israel for his own crimes.

Both sides need to pause and reflect on foundational priorities...because Israel must show resolve in the face of world demands to divide the land and jerusalem....tool of choice- Prayer for guidence

Rabbi Melamed's students serve in the IDF's top units and are willing to sacrifice their lives to defend the state of Israel and its people. They are not willing to ethnically cleanse Jews. They faithfully uphold the IDF's own mission statement. The Defense Minister himself doesn't. When will Barak summon the many anti-Israel professors for advocating the end of Israel and/or outright non-service in the IDF? My guess is never.

There is no way that Rav Melamed should heed that request by Barak, he should tell him politely to shove it and no longer send our children to an army which is used against us. Let the Hellenist do their own dirty job, we should establish the JDF instead, based on the principles of the Torah. Anyone can see that secular Zionism is a dying entity that is no longer representing the Jewish people, it has become a enemy within.
