This sounds like a super idea and will do much for the city and add more jobs
2. How will the haredim react?
David ,   Norway   (12.10.09)
I can already envision this modernity bveing a target for future haredi protests...

What do you in Norway know about Haredim and Modernity ? Living abroad doesn't give you the right to judge ! Take care of Norway !
5. a few comments
secular jerusalemite   (12.11.09)
1. the Chords Bridge looks like the mast of a sinking ship from too many angles. 2. The entrance to jerusalem is packed with terrible looking apartment buildings for haredim. no flowerpots, no cultivation, just laundry hanging to dry and junk in the balconies. Unfortunately, that's the first impression visitors to Jerusalem get. You want Jerusalem to look better? bring back the secular population!!!
6. Great Idea - But The Bridge ...
Christy ,   Boston, US   (12.12.09)
looks as if it's about to fall down. I'm not artistic, so whatever the artist was trying to say is lost on me. I'm sure it must have some deep meaning I'm unaware of. I confess to my artistic ignorance. But, it still looks like something about to fall down, to me. (I've seen many pictures of this bridge, from all kinds of angles. Still have the same opinion.) All the other plans to modernize the infrastructure sounds great - should be a real boost for business.
7. To David in Norway
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.14.09)
Answer me the following question: why is this any of your business? Do we get involved with the Nazi Norwegian state inner affairs in the city of Oslo? Do we care where you build and where you do not build? Understand that Jerusalem and Israel is ours and goyim are not welcome to take decisions in our land concerning our land. This is not open for debate or discussion-just accept it.
8. I thought the Bridge looks great
Anon ,   Johanessburg   (01.10.10)
One of the most advanced bridges i have seen built. the only thing Israel's capital city is missing is a modern Central Business Districs - This is great news.
