I intensely disagree on theological issues with both Muslims and Christians; but I agree with Prof. Maoz and the participants of this confidence that the only way to peace is through peaceful, scholarly debate. Since the three religions don't agree on the authority of holy books (agreeing neither on the Christian NT or Quran as authority), since all three agree that Tanakh is an Authority the only appeal to authority can be Tanakh, historical documentation and logic. This apparent one-time meeting in an undisclosed location was a step in the right direction. However, all three monotheistic religions need a permanent shuq in which to debate monotheistic theologies in which there is a commitment never to resort to violence and even ad hominems are exposed and condemned by all. This is especially urgent for the two Avrahamic (i.e., non-Hellenist) faiths since we are cousins in the same family. Land ceases to be a problem when two cousins are able to live together in peace. Many (not all) of the verses from Tanakh cited by Jewish extremists award land to children of Avraham. Jews need to respect that Arabs are also the descendents of Avraham. Only the verses that specify descendents of Yitzkhaq and Yaaqov/Yisraeil are exclusively the inheritance of Jews. There is NO path to a true or enduring peace through Torahless apostates; only naive promises and dreamers' fantasies. This scoffing and dismissal of the basic Torah principle of Havdalah--yet again--demonstrates your disrespect of Judaism: misojudaism. You were correct in stating that "judaism is judaism, christianity is christianity"; but self-contradicting in refusing to recognize that the logical implication, "ne'er the twain shall ever comingle," that our refusal to put up with slandering the Netzarim as such a comingling when we condemn comingling in the strongest terms, is adherence to the Torah principle of Havdalah, not "boilerplate intolerance."
