8. the ceder revolution is over & syria won
zionist forever   (12.21.09)
What was dubbed the Ceder Revolution when the anti Syria factions rose up and drove out the occupying Syrian army. Syria has never recognized Lebanon as an independent state claiming its a Syrian province. So they chased out Syria then they gave more power to Hizbollah the Syrian representatives in the Lebanese parliament. Now by calling it diplomacy Syria is taking Lebanon back so Assad got what he wanted & Lebanon is back in Syrian hands. If Lebanon really wanted to deal with Syria on equal terms then they need be trying to curb Hizbollahs political influence the way Egypt did with the muslim brotherhood Instead they officially let Hizbollah keep their weapons. They would have also been in their best interests to hold secret peace talks with Israel. Syria & Hizbollah are is a common enemies of both Israel and Lebanon. It may have even been possible to agree to some mutual defense pact ( on paper only Israel doesn't formerly commit to anything specific ) Israel would get nothing out of it in terms of defense it would have sent a message to Syria & the entire arab world of your with us and we will help you out now and again or your against at your own risk. Instead Assads now pulling the strings.
9. Is this the end of Lebanon?
Ron B. ,   Lod   (12.21.09)
The prospect of escalating violence while focusing hostility against Hizbullah, benefiting no one. If Hizbullah wants its semi-independent entity, it is now obliged to state this plainly. The masks have fallen, and if Hizbullah does decide to reject Lebanon, then we shouldn’t be surprised if some start speaking of an amicable divorce between Shiites and the rest of Lebanon. Can Israel afford to keep out of this new situation ? More about Lebanon at : http://xrl.us/bkivy

Yah! They kidnapped and killed some soldiers and now they danced arround and burned some flags. And now, they are part of Lebanon's government. So they will not be able to do anything again unless they get the get majority of the parliament of Lebanon. That makes them directly responsible for any attacks on Israel. That sounds ugly but it will work out in our favor. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Happy Holidays 2 u 2!

Eugen ,   London, England   (12.21.09)
Syria, and by extention Iran, who has undoubtedly authorised this diplomatic coup is only doing this to do diplomatically what they failed to do militarily in the 1970'es and 80'es. Yes it's only being done so surround Israel from all sides under 1 unfied command to try and strangle Israel; To Iranian Jew LA, i hand over to you...
