Now that the year of "dialogue' is over its time for the year of sanctions and most probally a military strike.
3. Memo to Ayalon
Ben Adler ,   BC, Canada   (12.26.09)
The UN has absolutely no appetite for more sanctions against Iran. Russia and China will absolutely prevent that from happening. And by the way, Mr. Ambassador: Iran, as a signatory to the NNPT, has been developing nuclear power for power plants, not weapons. Every IAEA inspection has consistently demonstrated that Iran is not enriching nuclear materials past the point necessary for a power plant, and no nuclear material us unaccounted for. Israel, on the other hand, has nuclear weapons, as validated by a German media interview with former Prime Minister Olmert, http://www.israelnewsagency.com/israelnuclearweaponsolmertiransyriaterrorism481211.htm "The Post cites an interview with the German television network SAT 1, Olmert was asked about the statement by US defense minister Robert Gates regarding Israel's nuclear ability. The prime minister became enraged when he was asked if the fact that Israel possessed nuclear power weakened the West's position against Iran." "Israel is a democracy and does not threaten anyone," he exclaimed. The only thing we have tried to do is to live without (threats of) terror, but we have never threatened anyone with annihilation. Iran explicitly, openly and publicly threatens to wipe Israel off the map." Olmert then went on to admit Israel's nuclear capability. "Can you say that this is the same level, when they are aspiring to have nuclear weapons, as America, France, Israel and Russia?" and former US President, Jimmy Carter. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7420573.stm "Ex-US President Jimmy Carter has said Israel has at least 150 atomic weapons in its arsenal." There is no ambiguity here. Israel, which has nuclear weapons, refuses to become a signatory to the NNPT, and will not allow for any inspections of its nuclear sites. And technically, as required by the Symington Amendment, the US is required to never give any kind of funding to a country which has, and is refining the use and deployment, of nuclear weapons. Yet, the US continues to fork over billions of dollars to Israel for military and commercial development. From the first day Israel had a nuclear bomb, the US should demand that every cent of those monies paid Israel in aid be returned to the US - with interest.

IRAN#1   (12.26.09)
They don't the courage to engage with Iran. Mr. Aylon is BSing as usual. Come back here next year at this time and you will read him saying 2011 is the decisive year, LOL!!!!!
5. ayalon ya ya ya
alexi   (12.26.09)
ayalon like peres, barak politically, like olmert and beilin/ben ami. Theur predictions are useless and have no effect. When liberman says something, it has impact;when ayalon says it, it carries no weight and the arabs mock it and the iranian illegal entity ' quake in their boots'.
6. What happened to Israel's December 25th, 2009 deadline?
Daniel ,   Los Angeles, USA   (12.26.09)
7. Dear Mr. Adler (#3), safe and sound in
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (12.26.09)
British Columbia in Canada, the threat of Iran doesn't effect you so you can write some highminded commentary castigating those who actually forsee the effects of a nuclear armed Iran. You deny the obvious facts regarding Iran and then go on to change the subject in turn by castigating Israel. Here's the difference, Mr. Adler: Iran threatens to wipe out Israel whereas Israel's nuclear capacity (never officially admitted) is purely defensive in nature and part of the weaponary utilized to prevent its (Israel's)extinction. I know this is hard for you to swallow, Mr. Adler, as Canada is one of the most blessed countries in the world. Demonizing Israel for something you just don't understand is lacking in grace, intelligence and understanding. You need to learn more about the region and place your opinions within a socio-political conext. If you can't do that, your opinions offer us little pedagogical value.
8. Decisive for someone

You could try it on this year but they'd likely blow all you right back to Khazaria..
