To #18: You think that Torah Study all day long, 365 days a year for life is a legitimate job for a person who may have 10 to 12 children to support? If they can't come up with enough money to support the amount of children that they are procreating, then they shouldn't be procreating at all, or at least without some form of birth control used by both sexual partners. Having children on the public dole should not be allowed or encouraged. Men who study in Yeshivas all day while their families are in financial hardship aren't protecting or supporting their own families, let alone supporting the State of Israel. It appears to be the other way around, that the State of Israel is wrongly supporting them. They need to get a job and support their children, and study Torah part time at home.
