2. Peace Now = Racists
Rafael ,   Yerushalayim, Israel   (01.07.10)
The political agenda of Peace Now is ethnic cleansing. They should be outlawed.
3. Some Protest... 30 people
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota U.S.A   (01.07.10)
And they look like misfits
4. Only 30?
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (01.07.10)
Not much of a protest. What makes this news? There were more than double that at Shacharis this morning.
5. Do these people have jobs?
Avi Steinson ,   Tel Aviv   (01.07.10)
How are they always available to protest and file petitions at the supreme court during working hours?
6. Irrelevant delusional leftists
David Stoler   (01.07.10)
Oppenheimer and peace now, no one pays the slightest attention to you anymore since you are responsible for the atrocity of Oslo and the 2nd intifada. You are incapable of admitting that any part of your wretched programme was a disaster. The extreme left is dying, because people found out the REAL truth and that's that leftist ideology destroys our country. The leftist Jews happen to forget that when a Palestinian terrorist blows up a bus he does not care how many leftist Jews are in it. Peace now held rallies for Hamas mass murderer Yassin after he was killed in 04. The Europeans are paying Peace now and other leftists to force Israel to give away its land and capital and for Peace now to have rallies for Arab killers. Yassin ordered every Hamas massacre against Israeli civilians. Peacenow is about holding rallies for Arab killers. Just to inform Peacenow, terrorism is down 95% since Yassin was killed. The goal of Fatah (in their own words) is very clear on their website: http://www.e-fateh.org/paper_full_3.aspx Article (12) - total liberation of Palestine and the liquidation of the Zionist state economically and politically, militarily and culturally. Article (13) - the establishment of independent democratic Palestinian state with full sovereignty over all Palestinian territories [no two state solution anywhere in the goals of Fatah]
7. The Kapos are back
Eric Goldstein   (01.07.10)
ALL Islamic nations only use Israel as a foil to divert attention to the corrupt rule. If Israel wanted Mogadishu as it Capitol suddenly there would be uproar throughout the Islamic world because Muhammad's horse slept there. We must make a strong and unequivocal direct declaration to the world delivered to all nations that Jerusalem is the UNDIVIDED Capitol of Israel and that no nation can or will divide its Capitol with its enemy and expect to survive. Jerusalem is ours and the Arabs can pound sand!!!
8. Can these protestors please go join their friends V.P.
rebecca ,   Modiin   (01.07.10)
in Gaza. Those guys seem to have lost a few along the way. They need your support.
9. Pushing unilateral borders is the nail in peace coffin
William ,   Israel   (01.07.10)
Peace Now doesn't seem to have a problem demanding UN resolutions be over-ridden based on their own agenda. If their true intention was a lasting peace and not appeasement, they would know that the UN resolution calling for borders based on negotiations and security is the ONLY way to create lasting peace. Until such negotiations commence, and the PA is demanding a million things before the return to the table, the areas are fair game - based on a host of intl laws. Putting land aside for Arabs - solely Arabs - is not only an Apartheid policy, laying the foundations of ethnic cleansing, but also setting borders before negotiations, giving the "palestinians" absolutely no incentive to negotiate honestly. Peace Now is the Arab's best friend, but they are NO friend of real peace.
10. PEOPLE WHO WALK ON STREETS BETTER THAN US ?
Atilla Karagözoğlu   (01.07.10)

11. Wow
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (01.07.10)
Building houses damage the 'piece process' but 10 mortar shells on our civilians does nothing. They are total morons
12. Atilla? You again?
Brad ,   USA   (01.07.10)
You finally said something that is true. You said "I don't know". We agree. You just puke out the same bullcrap you hear from the official Jew haters in the Western press, and the Middle East. You really don't "know " much about what you write, at all. These protesters are pretty much the same as you. They don't have a clue, but they make monkeys out of themselves, so they can feel good. That means they are bullcrap machines too.
13. I have news for the Peace Now crowd...
David ,   Hartford USA   (01.07.10)
You twits won't have peace now or ever if you expect honesty from the PA and Abbas. Remember Abbas? The PA president who praised the terrorist murderers of the rabbi last week? You clowns are so misguided I'm surprized you managed to get your shirts on straight. Your little demonstration only shows that Israel has its whackos, too. Why not come clean and call yourselves "Give Everything Away NOW?" At least everyone would know where you really stand. You folks are pathetic.

16. Peace Now
Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron Israel   (01.07.10)
Why is it so difficult for these "people" to understand some points like: 1) There is not such a thing as a "peace process" 2) To get Ahmed Tibi to demonstrate with them wont help them much (however I'm sure he wouldn't accept) 3) It's absolutely illogical to say that Jews cannot live anywhere in Jerusalem and arabs yes! Specially when it's private land. 4) Peace Now is as dead as the PA, they exist just because of anti Israel money filtered to them, same that PA exists just because Israel supports them.
17. These people wouldn't understand definition of peace........
What a joke ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.07.10)
if they read it out of a dictionary
18. Ha hah! :^P
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.07.10)
I wonder if there will ever be an equivalent of "peace now" in the future Palestinian state that will protest the expulsion of all the Jews and Christians.
19. 'Peace' organizations
AK   (01.07.10)
it is obvious by now that the so called 'peace' organizations and those on the Left favor the destruction of the state of Israel. That now, more or less, express that view during their on-campus pro-Arab conferences. In Israel, those people should be treated as traitors at the time of war. The rot started from the top and must be nipped before it spreads any further. No country in the past allowed enemies to demoralize the citizens from within and openly aid the enemy. Now such a actions are visible not only in Israel but also in Western Europe and now in hte USA. Those people, Peace Now, Answer, ISM and their leftist fellow travelers must be stopped now before they bring a disaster on all of us. 30 people took part? That 30 too many. Traitors should be treated like traitors.
20. #5 - Of course they do. They work for Peace Now
William ,   Israel   (01.07.10)
They are on the payrolls of Peace Now and their title is "Protester-at-large", e.g. they are ready at any notice to attend rallies and protests. Just look at the creativity of the sign, proving the protest was a hastily thrown together. Hamas has hundreds of these "protesters-at-large" on their payrolls...but by "payroll" I really mean being threatened to lose their UNWRA Aid cards. One man's carrot is another man's stick.
21. Legitimacy : Israel and the 22 Arab League countries.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (01.07.10)
It should be remembered that in 1918, with the fall of the Ottoman Empire, Britain and France were handed 5,000,000 square miles to divvy up and 99+% was given to the Arabs to create countries that did not exist previously. Less than 1 % was given as a Mandate for the re-establishment of a state for the Jews on both banks of the Jordan River. In 1921, to appease the Arabs once again, another three quarters of that was given to a fictitious state called Trans-Jordan. (Jack Berger, May 31, 2004.) The total for all the 22 Arab League countries is 6,145,389 square miles (SM). By comparison, all 50 states of the United States have a total of 3,787,318 SM. Israel has 8,463 SM, about one-sixth of that of the State of Michigan. Iran, Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan are Muslim but not Arab and are not included. World Arab population: 300 million; World Jewish population: 13.6 million; Israel's Jewish population: 5.4 million. More at :
22. Resettlement.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (01.07.10)
It is a historic reality that Jerusalem, as the entire land, were originally intended to be a homeland for the Jewish people. The Arabs living in this area, the so called “Palestinians” (about 5.000.000 persons) should in fact have a place and opportunity to settle, but it shouldn’t be in Jerusalem and/or the Land of Israel. As the total for all the 22 Arab League countries is 6,145,389 square miles (SM ) and Israel has only 8,463 SM, the resettlement of the Arabs should not be problematic. By comparison, all 50 states of the United States have a total of 3,787,318 SM. More at : http://xrl.us/osyi8

24. #33 Yes, Ron
Paul ,   Toronto   (01.08.10)
Yes, Ron. Let's just stick 5 million people in the middle of the Sahara Desert and wish them good luck. As to your "historic reality", I'm sorry, I am not jewish and don't share your folklores. I do believe in Paul Bunyan though.
