Who would come to help? Outside of the U.S. and fellow Jews, no one ever helps us.Why do we run around the world helping those that are apathetic to our fate or hate us?

The arrival of the Israeli medical rescue team is unknown in USA media. Why????
5. Remember Hezballah- influenced Venezuela is not far away
Alan ,   SA   (01.16.10)
Serious security measures must be in place for all the Israeli staff who went there. Wandering around the rubble is very risky/dangerous. The "country" is known for its criminal elements! It's a drug haven. Its facts to face.
6. Our little country ALWAYS offers assistance
Israel   (01.16.10)
when a shocking tragedy happens - whether we have relations with the country or not. So far, not one Muslim or Arab state have offered assistance, That just about says it all. And still, some countries are still banging on about the self inflicted disaster in Gaza. 200,000 people have just been wiped out.
7. Travelling to Haiti - Neglecting Gaza
David Cohen ,   New York   (01.16.10)
Israel's causing a humanitarian crisis on it's doorstep yet trying to alleviate one thousands of miles away.
8. #7 David Cohen, everywhere with his Gaza whine!
Claudia ,   Tampa FL, USA   (01.16.10)
Everyone but you seems to recognize that Hamas causes it's own people to suffer. I read your stuff in every Israeli online news outlet. The poor Gazans! So stupid to vote for Hamas and turn Gaza into a wasteland with their neglect and destruction of the infrastructure for agriculture and all those greenhouses the Israeli's left. But they, just like you, can only whine about how mistreated they are, when the truth is they bring it all on themselves. Remember the Indonesian tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims? They got no help from their own ME Muslim countries. God's will said the Imam's. How that exempts them from helping is a mystery to me. Other than they are evil and mean.

#4 we don't look for praise, #6 thats the way the cookie crumbles my friend, #7 shame on you , self hating leftist JEW, instead of showing concern for this disaster you take it upon yourself to speak lashon hara about israel. and by the way , the gaza thing was caused by hamas not us so grow up. shame on you.

Zakāt (Arabic: زكاة‎ IPA: [zækæːh], sometimes "Zakāh/Zekat"[1]) or "alms giving", one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is the giving of a small percentage of one's possessions (surplus wealth) to charity, generally to poor and needy Muslims.

a. supplies are coming into gaza, last year 650,0000 tons of humanitarian aid went into the strip from israel, and over 10,000 gaza residents were treated in israeli hospitals. b. maybe you don't know, but israel is always helping out across the world, like in the tsunami disaster and the earthquake in turkey.

Israel "runs around the world helping those that are apathetic to our fate or hate us?" ... because Israel is a sympathetic caring and great moral nation.
17. Where is help from arab countries ?
Conker ,   Israel   (01.17.10)
Of course the biggest help comes from US. There some other countries in the list, but not even one muslim or arab country. I wonder why is that ?

comparitively large ensemble of rescue workers with expertise has immediately flown all the way to Haiti to assist in this terrible development for the Haitian people. I think this shows Israel at its best and I am proud.
19. Hey YNET, in your hebrew website
Natalie   (01.17.10)
there is a heart worming story about how the Israeli team manages to rescue somebody from the rubble after a different rescue team had given up. Good work! On the one hand, it is so sad that teams from such a small country have so much expertise in rescue work, while international agencies, such as the UN and the Red cross are not at their best in such situations. On the other hand, it makes me proud to be an Israeli !!!
20. Israelis in Haiti "david Cohen" #7
Tania   (01.17.10)
The world through UNWRA have been feeding the Palestinians instead of teaching them how to work. Over 6o years. No Arab country recived them (as Israel received the Jews expelled from Muslim countrys)Gazans destroyed any infracstructure the Israelis left, instead of using it and profiting from it. Their leaders bombed Israel for 8 long years, and Israel was supposed to sit quietly? They used their women and children as shields. Was Israel supposed to let them do that and not defend it's citizens? Israel built bunkers so citizens wouldn't die. Has Hamas done that for it's citizens? No, because they want them to be hurt so Israel could be accused of killing civilians..You would not ask any other country to sit and let a neighbor keep on bombing it, you only ask that from Israel. Russians have killed more Chechenians than Israelis have killed Gazans, in Africa half (at least) of the countries have people killing each other by the thousands, but people like you can only enter Israeli sites to critizise Israel. In Egypt Muslims attacked Christian Copts. In Malasia (or is it Indonesia)Muslims attacked Christians for using the word Ala for god, and you are attacking Israel. Southern (Christian) Sudan was attacked for years with millions being murdered and enslaved by Muslims and you are worried about Israel as a perpetrator. Iraqi Shias and Sunnis are murdering each other by the hundreds of thousands, putting bombs in each other's holly sites and you worry about Israel who has gone to war in self defense. ALWAYS. Israel has always sent humanitarin aid to armenia, to India, to Mexico, to Colombia, to SE asia after the sunami. Yea, you are sooo right. NOT!!!!

Specifically, the arrival of a mobile hospital provided by the Israelis, along with medical personnel, was mentioned on CNN by one of the reporters in Haiti who's been covering the medical crisis resulting from the earthquake. And I will say that Campbell Brown, on who's show the report was broadcast, appeared obviously delighted at the news. Other than that, Fox News listed Israel among some of the countries who were sending aid.

truth ,   new york   (01.17.10)
it is being extensively covered on FOX News. I am watching it right now and they are interviewing israeli doctors. superb job! interesting, there doesn't appear to be any saudi field hospitals. i guess oil money isn't funneled into humanitarian causes, but only to jihadists.
24. Arabs Not Sending Help to Haiti
Marty ,   Toronto Canada   (01.17.10)
Newspapers here in Toronto publishing lists of donor countries and countries sending assistance - conspicuous absence of Arab/Muslim countries (other than Iran which sent a team). The next time there is a disaster in a Muslim country the world should send bupkis. All that Arab oil money and the schnorrers don't send a plug nickel in foreign aid. The other thing we are wondering about - the Palestinians must be jealous they are temporarily out of the "world victim spotlight" - danger is that they stage some terrorist act to get back in the headlines!
25. Thank you Jason (# 3)
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (01.17.10)
You wrote exactly what I was thinking this past week. If G-d forbid, this had happened in Israel, I can count on one hand the countries that would help Israel: U.S.A. & Canada...That's about it! I pray day and night (yes, in my sleep too!) that Hashem spares Israel and its people of any arm because if it happens, no one would be there to care. In any case, I applaud the Israeli government for sending a rescue team; we are WAY BETTER than our opponents will ever be.
26. Israel is simply the BEST!!!!! #7 Hamas caused the Gaza prob
Sharona ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.17.10)
The Gazans chose Hamas a terror gang recognized as such by the EU and the US. They elected terrorists and sealed their own fate. If the "good" people of Gaza throw out terrorists Israel would be there too!
