1. Proof that money doesn't buy you happiness
Ron ,   Toronto   (01.21.10)
We should prove to Ahmadinejad and his cronies that (a) money can't buy you happiness and (b) you can't take it with you... ..by assassinating them!
2. messge to the man who wants to murder the Jews

What then could I do when God arises? And when He calls me to account, what will I answer Him? "Did not He who made me in the womb make him, And the same one fashion us in the womb?

4. So much for the integrity of Iranian leadership...
David ,   Hartford USA   (01.21.10)
Not to say the the USA doesn't have government officials that have made fortunes while in office. But the 'holy' leadership of Iran is obviously using government funds to pad their private bank accounts. Prison is a certainty when anyone else tries to take money out of the country, but not for these a-s-wipes. Just how did these folks amass such fortunes? A college professor? A military guy? This is all theft on a huge scale and they should all be arrested for gross corruption. The Iranian people are being looted by their leaders. Time to support the demonstrators and for the end of the regime. Obama should be loud and clear and state that the free countries of the world will not accept a nuclear Iran led by the most corrupt officials on the planet. Time to remove the Iranian leadership. Time to support the opposition! The time for 'out-stretched hands' is long gone. The world bank should freeze every Iranian asset. These 'bigshots' think they have provided for their escape- time to close off that escape route.
5. Iran regime: the scum of the world
Maurice ,   Montreal   (01.21.10)
Iranian's toppled the Shah in 1979 to replace him with a seemingly better government. Well, what they have now is more corrupt than the Shah's government. The current leaders are criminals stealing from public funds to pad their bank accounts around the world. The people of Iran should wake up already! They should arrest and execute every single one of these criminals, starting with Ahmadinejad.
6. € 100M
Bruria   (01.21.10)
So much for the humble muslim:) Ha Ha Ha.
7. Kickbacks
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (01.21.10)
Banks keep quiet 'cos they're happy to hold and use the dosh. There should be a paper trail revealing who's breaking sanctions....unless, of course it's delivered in cash to the bank in a suitcase
8. all the mentionned info are true
LEBANESE ,   LEBANON   (01.21.10)

12. #3 Mahmood
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (01.22.10)
Are you listening to #8 or is denial have become your new reality? Our country, Iran, is in such trouble for this exact ideology (denial). ... Yes! Mehdi & Co. are taking your money and let me guess keeping safe for real Mehdi to show up.... Come on! Wake the hell up!!
13. The darlings of the far left are fat cats?
Zvi   (01.22.10)
SHOCKING! Or not. Arafat was the same. So was Saddam. So is Bashar al-Assad. So is Qaddaffi. The far left supports these thuggish dictators, who have become mind-bogglingly wealthy not on the backs of one factory's workers but rather on the backs of the workers of entire NATIONS. Clearly the far left is either mentally bankrupt, or morally bankrupt. Take your pick.
14. #10 Ahmadinejad the actor
Cynthia ,   USA   (01.22.10)
He's Iran's highest paid disputed President. He drives an old car and looks like he slept in his suit to create the impression of a humble man. This is a facade for the power hungry dictator of Iran who has plunged Iran deeper in debt. He recently passed an economic reform plan aimed to prevent inflation from reaching 60%. To accomplish this, he will reduce subsidies to the poor and working classes in areas of electricity, gas, water, wheat etc. He will bleed the working and lower class citizens to protect the wealthy upper class and regime establishment.
15. Wealthy leaders in Iran is consistent with the Shah.
Rivkah   (01.22.10)
But, tell me, where is Ahmadinejad going to spend all his Euros after he nukes Europe in his quest to destroy the West and take over the world for the Muslim Mahdi? The true riches are a bank-on account in heaven for good deeds which cannot be lost or left behind when death comes.
16. #3 - Are you saying that Iranian leaders are poor?
William ,   Israel   (01.22.10)
Too much precedent in the Arab world of despotic leaders amassing wealth at the expense of the population - from Saddam all the way to Arafat. If it's not going to Hamas or Hizbullah for weapons to commit war crimes, then it must be going into the pockets of Iran's elite - because it sure isn't making it to the populace at large.
17. #8 - Typical Muslim hypocrisy
William ,   Israel   (01.22.10)
After decrying the West for decadence and a banking system based on usury (interest lending), they stick their money in Western banks to take advantage of interest lending. They are true hypocrites.
18. Surprise, Surprise, They are rich.!
Jojo ,   PRTWASHNY   (01.22.10)
The majority of people going into politics in the US are "comfortable" and wealthy when retiring. Most people going into politics in Europe are broke going in, wealthy going out. All bums from the 3rd and muslim world are destitute going into politics/dictatorship, but upon retiring, eliminated or 'bumped-off" are filthy rich. Interestingly enough, upon departing the" scene" they leave behind their citizens destitute, with no tomorrow in sight. Now you know why they shrug off insults, criticism -- as long as they retain power..! --- they have the last laugh on their way to the bank.
19. Robbing a nation's wealth
havanabrownsam ,   Tyngsboro, MA USA   (01.22.10)
This is why Iran's people live in abject poverty, while those deemed 'smart enough' to get away with this theft do. The Iranian people need aid & support from the world. Where are the cries of outrage from world leaders? They condone this through their silence.
20. pocket money

25. It proves that Ahmadinejad is not only
leo ,   usa   (01.24.10)
"man of the people", but he is also a man. :-)=) . . . . I hope Iranian people hear about it and wise up quickly.
