I think the Ethopian community is wrong in demanding this. No other community can demand that their non Jewish relatives be brought here and provided for. Each case must be examined on merit and only the immediate family, husband of, wife of etc, should be considered. It is wrong what the Jewish agency has done in Ethiopia- dragging a whole community through years of "hope" when they are not Jews. Grooming to conversion is also not right- recent quarrels in Israel regarding this make it an important issue. Just because a community is poor is no reason to give priority - Ethiopia is a poor country for all. Aliya is for Jews, and the law makes it clear- Jews, eligible also husband of a Jew, wife of a Jew, immediate children, and those who have a Jewish grandparent only. The law applies to all- why are they given such treatment?

Given that the Law of Return is overly liberal and has brought very large numbers of non-Jews on Aliya, the treatment of Ethiopian migrants is even wackier. The government and agencies have declared several times in the past that all the "jews" from Ethiopia have been brought to Israel - only to find that thousands more relatives and friends from neighboring villages in Ethiopia also want to be taken to the Promised Land. This will continue until there are no people left in Ethiopia - or until Israel finally starts using logic in formulating immigration policy. Each possibility is equally unlikely.

Christians are Jews too,they believe in 1 God and in the prophets of Israel ,so,bring all the Etiopians to Israel,Israel's law of return is insane,the dna of the Falasha people is the same as the rest of the population in Ethiopia,which means that the falasha people are not Jews,despite some Jewish custems they have,do you know that the falasha,have Monks and nuns ?
