Janice Cohen ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.26.10)
but nothing will happen anytime soon.
2. Why this man must never be P.M. again !!
Yisrael ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (01.26.10)
A megalomaniac with delusions of grandeur, and a penchant for the outrageous statement, unconnected to reality is he ! Another sad example of an outstanding warrior who is now out of his depth, intellectually and politically. Retire now, while you still have some public respect left !
3. This is not clear
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (01.26.10)
As usual, Barak talks a lot and doesn't make much sense. If Barak is worried about a demographic problem, why did he support the post-Oslo immigration of hundreds of thousands of Arabs? If Barak is worried about a demographic problem, what does he plan to do with the 20% Israeli Arabs? Will they stay citizens? If Barak is worried about a demographic problem, why does he agree to illegal Arab take-over of land around Jewish towns in Judea, Samaria, Galilee, Negev and Golan, while violently preventing any construction by Jews?
4. WOW !
Salma ,   Palestine   (01.26.10)
So Mr. Barak, You Give the command and the Palestinians will tell you this is good (NOW )with best wishes, Good luck to you!

The world knows that Israel would not or could not negotiate a just peace and that the 1967 Peace Plan will have to be imposed. Even then of course the hatred built up by Israel over the last sixty years will not go away.
6. Father of the 2nd intifada
eddie ,   london UK   (01.26.10)
this man Barak, who offered to give away Jerusalem to arafat, and casued a war where several thousdan Israelis were murdered, then suggested a withdrawal from wb, is in no position to offer his insane ideas. The demographic argument is also false, and hence the bais for his ideas is wrong. The setlers are the fastest growing population in Israel!
7. Deliberate war loser Barak is the biggest threat
Ruri   (01.26.10)
How can Israel survive with a deliberate war loser in charge? One who spends all his time bowing before the goyim.
8. propaganda
colin   (01.26.10)
What is wrong with Ynet. ? Being a very leftest lying untruthful paper isn't bad enough. The Ynet has been advertising the cowardly groveling lying wimp barak with all types of stories.Barak is the most stupid idiot and nobody in Israel gives a damn for his bullshit
9. The biggest threat to Zionism are not the "Palestinians"
m   (01.26.10)
The biggest threat to Zionism is the Post-Zionism, divides, retreats and destroys the basis of this country.
10. Retire and write a Book
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.26.10)
Barak, your long list of failure in the no peace process will make for good reading. Start with a chapter of your retreat from South Lebanon for the wonderful peace we see now. Your wisdom has really paid off. Maybe you can title your book 'Flight of the Lemmings'

Janice Cohen ,   Jerusalem Israel   (01.26.10)
You must be a complete idiot if you think this plan or that is going to "be imposed".
12. The Biggest Threat...
Bruria   (01.26.10)
Is the gasbag named Barak. Since when do we have to draw a border that expresses the Palestinians' desire? Does he not listen to what the PA says? They want ALL of Israel--so just where does he plan to draw the border--along the beaches of Tel Aviv and Haifa?
13. #12 That's right, Palestine is from river to sea
Nour ,   Palestine   (01.26.10)
Settlers, nice doing business with you! We should exchange more visits and get to know each other. We're going to share the land, after all !
14. Barak is wrong
Brod ,   USA   (01.26.10)
Barak is wrong. Iran nuke threat is more dangerous to Israel and the world than the peace process with the scoundrels who do not know peace and are not nation builders. Religious fanatics the like of Atta, Bin Laden, etc with nukes can destroy the world without any qualms.
15. #13 Nour
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (01.26.10)
The Palestine you speak of is lost forever.
16. Israeli government must plan one way or the other
Sam ,   Canada   (01.26.10)
Listening to Barak or Olmert or other Jews worrying about an apartheid state is tiresome. It's defeatist. Since agreement with the Palestinians is very problematic then Israel must plan for the scenario of no agreement. Tough luck for the Palestinians if they continue with their all or nothing approach. Let them scream "apartheid" if they refuse to compromise. Their position is the same as the Israeli far right. They want it all. They are trying to wear down liberal Jews and the West with with slogans like "occupation" and "apartheid" while maintaining their own inflexibility.
17. To @8 Propaganda and Ynet.>>>
James ,   ISRAEL   (01.26.10)
colin hear this; What is wrong with Ynet? Methinks we have been hoodwinked thinking Ynet is a liberal news aoutlet?? Wrong! They are almost on a par to Haaretz. A very leftists news outlet. That is why some of us have wondered and said so.(not me personally) But one or two have voiced it. I thought Barak would come back with another story to sooth our nerves, but he did the reverse. Silly fool..Back to the blackboard Barak.
18. Biggest threat is Iran and you nothing
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (01.26.10)
19. Hello Nour@13 >.Oh ah>> 13 bad number oops! You say:
Kate ,   ISRAEL   (01.26.10)
That's right, palestine from the river to the sea? Which sea,and what river would that be Nour? However, the idea of exchanging visits to get to know one another is an admirabe choice, and I agree. But,not when you are innundated by Jihadists who want to annihilate MY COUNTRY And put in its place Islamofascist, degenerates? Nah,nah Nour dear. Under the circumstances there will never be ANY SHARING.You already have a share,or have you forgotten? The many Arab Israelis who live comfortably in Israel and would never want to relocate to any Arab country(their btrethren) knowing their freedom of expression and the many benefts they accrue living in Israel would be null and void. Don't you think it has been reprehensible of those Arab/Muslim brothers of yours who have used you,(and still do)as pawns for nigh on 61 years.Fact.In Lebanon & Syria there are refugee camps full of Pals that are not given passports, are not accepted, live in fear. Now that has been the "modus operandi" of your brothers in FAITH.Shame on them. Israel is not the parent of your lot. You must tell Abass to stop manipulating your people for his greedy purpose as did "ratifart" the bastard. As things stand no chance for a Pal state I fear, nor sea,or any river.
