1. Equality
Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron Israel   (01.28.10)
Dear Judge Erenberg. I am ignorant about law matters, but I don't understand why is it illegal to stand quietly, with posters in front of the house of an anti Land of Israel IDF officer and it's legal to do the same in front of common people who pass through this nasty experience just because of their love for Israel. Are both cases absolutely different? Are leftist and arab demonstrators holding more rights than "settlers"? Are public servants a privileged class in front of common people? Sorry for the questions, seems to be the teachers that thought me about democracy saw it in a different way!
2. Jewish Neighbourhood
Shimon ,   Poleg   (01.28.10)
It's actually always was a Jewish Neighbourhood in the Jewish capital city of Jerusalem. Even according to Jordanian Law after they chased out the Jews in 48 until 1967 this particular neighbourhood was termed occupied enemy territory and Palestinian families were housed there. Jerusalem is and always has been our capital. The Palestinians are temporary unwanted visitors to add to the long list
3. The Judge
Mark Israel   (01.28.10)
The judge's ruling here is somewhat different from his senior colleague who jailed three teenage girls for an inderminate time for what they were THINKING. Well I suppose this judge's ruling represents progress.
4. Leftist attacks merit a strong dose of frontier justice.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.28.10)
The radical left, composes of extremists, Arabs and foreign troublemakers, must learn that it can't violate citizens' rights with impunity. Everyone has the right to peaceful protest. However, previous leftist "protests" at Sheik Jarrah were anything but peaceful. Leftist thugs broke into homes, attacked families, vandalized property etc. Such leftist attacks merit a strong dose of frontier justice. Leftist thugs must learn they have more to fear than a lawsuit. Anyone facing legal troubles for administering such justice to leftist thugs, would have the strong support of almost all of Israel.
5. To Quote Yitzhak Rabin
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (01.28.10)
"Break their bones." The leftists aren't "protesting". They're rioting- with the Arab terrorists.
6. this judge is nuts
ezer   (01.28.10)
There should be a protest in front of the Judge's house and see how he likes his medicine.
7. Another candidate for a shoe...
(01.28.10)
8. Sure wasn't the rule when Gush Katif was evicted
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (01.28.10)
People holding signs or even doing nothing were arrested and held without any crime being committed. Here we have rioting and the courts are protecting the rioters. Time to remove leftist judges that are bent on the destruction of the State of Israel
