so why bother with these perfidious and slanderous lies?
2. Barak: IDF is like no other army
observer   (01.29.10)
The Yesha Rabbinical Council announced in response to an IDF attack in Kfar Qanna that "according to Jewish law, during a time of battle and war, there is no such term as 'innocents' of the enemy." All of the discussions on Christian morality are weakening the spirit of the army and the nation and are costing us in the blood of our soldiers and civilians," the statement said. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,...3283720,00.html morality; the Jewish way
3. where Sderot is, there was a village called Najd
observer   (01.29.10)
Sderot is built on the lands of Najd, a Palestinian village ethnically cleansed by Jewish militia in 1948. It was home to about seven hundred people, most of them small farmers. Two days before the declaration of the State of Israel – that is, on May 13th – Haganah forces expelled the inhabitants. Its residents fled into the Gaza strip. why rocketing? two-day fraud doesn't expropriate the right of Gazans to resist.

The needle on your record got stuck. You keep on posting the same post on different articles. Rather boring.

Najd is the central region of the Arabian peninsula. Got any more lies you might like to regale us with?
6. Israel ignores demand to probe Gaza war
Marco ,   Spain   (01.29.10)
That was expected because Israel has something to hide.
7. False Title
Steven ,   London, UK   (01.29.10)
Israel hasn't ignored the call, it considered then chose to disregard the call to set-up a new investigatory body, since we are investigating perfectly fine as it is.
8. Spanish insight
Laurence ,   Tustin, USA   (01.30.10)
is worth nothing. That cowardly nation elected an islamic apologist and was promptly repaid by a series of bombings. Other than paella, Spanish contribution to modern society is negligible. Cayete, pendejo.
9. Marco, the grade 2 educator
Eyal ,   USA   (01.30.10)
I think what you mean to say is Hamas ignores the call. Tell me dummy, where are the military basis near Sderot Hamas was aiming at? Do you know of any? Always defending the Barbarians, means you are also one. Don't worry, Israel will cave to the call and will also prove the Goldstone was a fraud, but the UN will continue to ignore the fact that we are dealing with barbaric Arabs like yourself sucker. Shabbat Shalom

Paco ,   Canada   (01.30.10)
on ur war crimes again?
11. Kangaroo Judge.
Brad ,   USA   (01.30.10)
Two things are for certain. 1) Ignoring the UN, which has a muslim majority voting bloc, is a very wise move. Stick to it! 2) No rockets or mortar shells fell anywhere near "Judge" Goldstone's house.
12. To Sarah, the liar.
Dismayer ,   Australia   (01.30.10)
Excellent internet hagana attempt. Didn't get the memo that them old distort, distract and confuse tricks don't work any more, Sarah. Najd was a village, ethnically cleansed and Sderot was built on its remains. Now, justifiable or not, that puts the attacks on the town in a bit of context, innit Sarah? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Najd,_Gaza More lies you'd like to spread?

go to jpost.com and access an article written by alan dershowitz, a law professor at harvard university, an international law expert. he has an incredible analysis of the goldstone report. amazing. then come back here and let us know what you think. happy reading!!! make it quick. we need to know your opinion.
17. AMAZING ANALYSIS AND SHOULD BE READ ASAP
(01.30.10)
PROFESSOR DERSHOWITZ, ONE OF THE MOST RESPECTED LEGAL MINDS (HARVARD LAW PROFESSOR) IN THE USA JUSTICE SYSTEM MADE AN EXCELLENT REBUTAL TO THE GOLDSTONE REPORT. THIS IS A MUST READ. EXCELLENT. SARAH B. YOU BEING A LAWYER, IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, WOULD ENJOY THIS PIECE BY DERSHOWITZ. IT MAKES SO MUCH LEGAL SENSE THAT HAD GOLDSTONE FACED DERSHOWITZ IN A DEBATE ABOUT THIS REPORT, DERSHOWITZ WOULD HAVE LEGALLY FRIED GOLDSTONE ALIVE AND THROWN HIM OURT OF COURT. BY THE WAY, DERSHOWITZ DID SEND A REQUEST TO GOLDSTONE TO DEBATE WITH HIM, BUT GOLDSTONE REFUSED IMMEDIATELY. OTHER LEGAL EXPERTS ALSO WROTE GOLDSTONE TO JUSTIFY THE ACCUSATIONS IN HIS REPORT WITH CREDIBLE EVIDENCE WHICH THESE LEGAL EXPERTS POSSESSED AGAINST THE REPORT. GOLDSTONE WROTE, i am in receipt of your open letter. i have no intention to respond to you now or in the future. YET, GOLDSTONE CONTINUALY SAID THAT SHOULD ANYONE COUNTER HIS REPORT, HE WOULD LOVE TO LISTEN TO THEM BUT THAT NO ONE HAS APPROACHED HIM TO CLARIFY HIS REPORT. HE EVEN CALLED OBAMA TO DEMAND WHY OBAMA FELT THE REPORT WAS BIASED AND ERRONEOUS. AND TOLD OBAMA TO SHOW HIM ONE THING THAT WAS BIASED IN THE REPORT. MANY PEOPLE TRIED TO DEBATE HIM AND WROTE LETTERS OF INQUIRY. ISN'T IT QUITE INTERESTING THAT SO MANY PEOLE WANTED TO CHALLENGE THE REPORT AND ASK QUESTIONS AS TO ITS BIAS OR VALIDITY AND ACCURACY, YET, GOLDSTONE REPEATEDLY CLAIMS NO ONE APPROACHED HIM WITH QUESTIONS. i believe he is the most incensere and rotten individual i have ever read about. i cannot imagine anyone, especially a jew, conducting themselves with such immorality and lies. amazing. unless there is somewhere a payoff in the form of a hefty un position with a hefty salary to go with it. otherwise, nothing can possibly explain the depravity, the insult to the legal system, to morality and to justice by a so called lawyer or judge. he is more suited to the court of inquisition that a moral 21st century court. i read the entire report, piece by piece, ommitting nothing from top to bottom. considering the evidence i know about hamas and this terrorist group with no morality and respect for the lives of its citizens and those of others, and the PASS that they were given by this insidious report, this piece of junk report will never stand in a court of law. it is not surprising that even its author, goldstone remarked, "if this report was in a court of law, not a single condemnation in it could be legally proved. it would not stand in a court of law." YET, HE PUT HIS SIGNATURE ON IT AS A LEGAL ACCUSATION OF ISRAEL CAST LEAD OPERATION. i believe this idiot needs to go back to law school asap and pass the much needed bar exam. hameed aboughaze, iranian
18. Of course Israel wouldn't set up an independent commission
Jerrold Cohen ,   Seal Beach, USA   (01.30.10)
It knows that the commission would find that Israel had committed egregious war crimes.
19. Steven, you're investigating from London?
BBSNews ,   Charlotte, NC   (01.30.10)
That's nice nonsense and all but it does not help Israel. The rogue state has decided that it can ignore international law so it will now suffer the consequences. Don't believe that US veto is a sure thing. Israel has already admitted culpability in acts related in the Goldstone Report by *already paying*, without quibble, $10.5 million to the United Nations for damages it cause by firing on UN facilities during the War on Gaza. A country that was not guilty would not be paying such money. And the timing is quite suspect as well, Israel decides to pay just before it ignores the demand for a full, transparent, independent investigation of the war crimes and possible crimes against humanity that Israel committed in Gaza.
20. PA
Juan ,   US   (01.30.10)
Abbas is president of PA not S Fayad who is prime minster . As Israel JAG is under the Attorney General that is an independent review of the military.
21. BDS Time! No other strategy will work with Israel
Nour ,   Palestine   (01.30.10)
The Scandinavians and South Americans are signed up. West Europe has started rejecting anything related to settlements. Participation in EU programs: frozen or cancelled. Saudi will soon kick out the French companies involved in land piracy in East Jerusalem, the hijacked Palestinian capital. Next step: Economic Embargo. Israelis need to be put on a diet - to borrow Sharon the vegetable's infamous quote.
22. #3 #6 listen kids
gadi, idf ,   israel   (01.30.10)
my grand father was in the underground movement who faught arab terririrsts at this time. by that time many jews from around the world have migrated to the land of israel, the arabs that time have launched many terrorist attacks on jews, after a few attacks the jews formed an underground movement where also my grand father was member. the mission was to strike back the ones who were involved in those very same terrorist attacks comitted against innocent jewish people. after a year of failed attempts to catch the core group who carried out attacks and continued to do so, the state of israel decided to finally extract all arabs to the south (jordan, sinai, egypt, etc.). the state even gave the arabs who wished us no less than death, 24 hours to pack and leave. those who stayed have been arrested and deported to the south, those who resisted have been killed. u see it's very simple. after the holocaust, and after 6mio of us died, we needed a land which belong to us. it's no only nazi germany. the jews have been haunted for 2000 years already. so since jews have lived on the land of israel first and the longest (small tribes) we reclaimed the land and made it bloom and grow beautiful. we we're migrating to this land with the hope to live in peace with the ones who already lived there. but since the arabs didnt like the idea and made terror attacks on our people, we made the decision to push them away. it's as simple as that. when someone's fighting you, you fight back. now you can come here claim what the f you want, we all know the truth and how it went down... so instead of waisting your time blaming everything on the jews, u better get a life and do something with it. dont waste your time on business that doesnt belong to you. mind your own problems, you have much more than we do, trust me... go play outside kids, this is for adults here...
23. Najd (Sderot) meant "elevated ground" in Arabic
observer   (01.30.10)
n 1948, it was a farming village of 719 people. The village and its agricultural lands occupied 3355 acres, 93.3% Arab owned, 3.6% Jewish owned (there were several Zionist collective farms in the area that were said to be on friendly terms with Najd and other area villages, though there was no one Jewish in Najd), and 3% public land. "The village stood on an elevated spot on the southern coastal plain, and overlooked the agricultural lands aroud it. Several secondary roads linked it to the coastal highway at points between al-Majdal and Gaza, as well as to the villages in the vicinity. Its name meant "elevated ground" in Arabic.
24. No safe haven or bomb shelters
observer   (01.30.10)
Between 2005 and 2007, Israel fired more than 14,600 155mm artillery shells into the Gaza Strip, killing 59 Palestinians and injuring 270. as of January 15, Israeli forces had carried out 2,360 air strikes. No safe haven or bomb shelters existed in Gaza, making this one of the rare conflicts where civilians had no place to flee.
25. Palestinians investigated, Israel probed the probe
observer   (01.30.10)
Palestinians handed out the report to the UN after appointing judges to probe incidents mentioned in Goldstone's report. Israel, in stead, decided to deliver lectures to show the extent of morality of the soldiers and IDF procedures. In the mean time, Israel is trying to explain why she refused in the first place to cooperate with the Goldstone probe.

27. The Goldstone report never even admits that Hamas is a ...
Ron B. ,   Lod   (01.30.10)
The Goldstone report never even admits that Hamas is a terrorist organization. The Goldstone’s report is full of statements of “fact” that defy belief and come without any evidentiary source. The report denies, contrary to numerous contemporary reports in media outlets, without citing any of the evidence, that Hamas fighters dressed in civilian dress, hid in hospital facilities and used ambulances to transport combatants and other military purposes. Last but not least : the Goldstone report never even admits that Hamas is a terrorist organization. Few Israelis or fair-minded individuals will find this mission, its report or its recommendations as having providing accountability or restoring the morality of the United Nations. 28. In fact, #3 is correct. Benny Morris, in
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (01.30.10)
his updated version regarding the plight of Palestinian refugees, described the situation just as #3 said. It stands to reason that an army fighting for the survival of its people (Israel) would have had to remove third columns within its midsts. Most Palestinians fled because their leader, the Mufti of Jerusalem, told them to leave but then return after the Zionist forces were defeated. This, of course, did not occur. The Mufti spent WWII in Germany, a friend of the Nazis. He was promised help by the Nazis to exterminate all the Jews in the region once Europe was under its domination. This, also, did not occur. For strategic reasons, a number of Palestinian Arabs were forced by Jewish forces to evacuate.
29. #5 How about the part where it's not a lie.
Adele ,   Toronto   (01.30.10)
He's referring to this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Najd,_Gaza You can't deny Israel's past of ethnically cleansing the Palestinians from their homes.
30. #28 and others
Noell ,   Sydney   (01.30.10)
You have now spent your PR that the nazies generated for you and it is often said that the abused becomes the abuser. Sure, you were treated badly by the Germans, but that does not mean that you should persecute others. Now you critize enybody that dares challenge you and ridicule them, you have turned into your abusers
