1. Netanyahu, you have to be kidding!!!!

You are going to wave tourist visa requirements for people of a country where the government is honoring soldiers who openly hunted Jews to kill them during WWII???? The Ukranian president is giving medals of honor to the Ukranian soldiers who openly aided the brutality against Jews in the Shoa!!!! Ukraine's president is very anti-Semitic and guess who elected him??? The very same people you want to wave visas for!!!
2. Visa exemption?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.31.10)
How about Israel recalling its embassy staff in the Ukraine and terminating diplomatic relations with the Ukraine? Nothing's changed since the days of Bogdan Chielmnicki. Last week, the president of the Ukraine decided to bestow honors upon people who collaborated actively -- and enthusiastically -- with Nazi Germany. In light of this rather sad turn of events, does Israel even want the Ukrainian tourist trade?
3. Visa Waiver

Waive the tourist visa. It is good business and allows people into Israel to see the country for themselves which can lead to better relations in the long run

I completely aggree, that Israel should not grant visa exemption to the ukrainian tourist.visitors....Granting visa exemptions to hostile and largely antisemitic state is a form of "masochism, Nanatnyahu is trying to practice...I know and remember the hostie treatment of Jews in Ukraine 40 years ago and how viciosly they attacked us verbally on the streets, schools and during political meetings-demending us to clear ukraine and to our Palestine, so they would finally get rid of Jews...And we did. But somehow that didn't make them better. And now they are coming to Israel to continue and spew their hate and envy.....Get real, Sally and Open your eyes. With a few exeptions, it is not for the love of Jews and ISrael, that these people want to enter Israel...They entry to Israel and their whereabouts need to be monitored.

Better relations with Ukraine and any other country who respects and obides our laws ? YES ! But only from a position of power and vigilance...
6. No Visa Exemption
Ancuta ,   Sibiu Romania   (02.01.10)
No Israel do not allow Visa exemption to a Third World former soviet republic that is on the verge of default. Ukrainians do not like Israel, I know because me as a Romanian I travel to Ukraine and they are racist little horrible people. I was out of there in an instant. Ukraine is collapsing and has nothing to offer Israel. As a great friend to Israel and the Israeli people I ask that Israel does not waive the visa requirements to Ukrainian. When Ukraine built that statue on Jewish graves that was obscenely offensive, disgusting behaviour by the Ukrainians. Israel does not like Ukraine and vice versa. Israel will regret the visa exemption to Ukraine. If Ukraine defaults Ukrainians will start their mass exodus to Israel and put pressure on Israeli systems e.g. infrastructure. Please please Israel do not exempt Ukrainians visa.
