Mohammad Oudeh, also known as Abu Daoud as his assumed name in the PLO, was the mastermind of the Munich Olympics Massacre, and was one of prominent commanders of Fatah and the PLO during the 60's and 70's - basically he was there from the very beginning. He operated in Jordan and Lebanon, and in 1971 was the leader of Black September, the Fatah offshoot that decided to kill Israelis in retaliation for being forcibly expelled by the Jordanians. In 1999, he published an autobiography, called From Jerusalem to Munich. There, Abu Daoud wrote that Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas' assumed name in the PLO) provided the funds for the attack in Munich. So yes, I'd say Mahmoud Abbas knows it very well.

I was at Concordia U. in Quebec when Bibi was scheduled to speak. The riots by Arabs, which the campus police refused to address, prevented him from speaking at all, and several people attending were injured. including me. The majority of the students protesting weren't Arabs. They were Americans of mixed races and ethnicities. I saw the direct broadband feed of the incident. Ynetnews would like the people of Israel to think that only American Arabs are against what Israel does to the Palestinian people. But that is not exactly true. While the majority of Americans are in a state of comatose as they watch their Superbowl and eat potato crisps there is a growing segment of the population that is becoming aware of the apartheid nature of the Israeli Occupation of the West Bank. Certainly the intelligent black population in the USA is relating to the plight of the Palestinians. The liberal Christian segment is coming around. The right wing religious fundamentalists practising an Old Testament version of "Christianity" are hopelessly lost when it comes to seeing the fqcts but they will come around when all the money and jobs are gone.
