Although I am a staunch Zionist, I am of the opinion that it would be a terrible mistake for Israel to bomb Iran. I say this because in the near future, after much bloodshed and after the mad Ayatollahs are overthrown, there will emerge a new Iran that will no longer support Israel's terrorist enemies, and that will probably revert to a neutral or even friendly relationship with Israel. Robert, I applaud your message of solidarity with Israel. However, if you are Jewish, your feelings of safety in America are delusional. First of all, America is undergoing the same basic changes as nations like France. A declining Jewish population and an exploding youthful Moslem population guarantee very troubled times ahead in the U.S., as in France. Moreover, the only reason Jews are safe in the U.S. is because of Israel. Without a strong Israel, American Jews would be no more secure than American or European Jews in the 1930s. Second, if and this is a big if, the Iranians could hit Israel with even tens or twenties of missles, after years of being hit by Iranian proxys like Hezsbollah with Iranian supplied missles, no one, I repeat no one will stop Israel from burying Iran in a nuclear cloud. Third, even Israel's closest enemies know how far they might go before they will not be able to stop Israel from blotting them out.
