1. :: Too little - too late
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (02.13.10)
Israel killed the opportunity of a Two State solution with its illegal WB settlement enterprise. The only remaining option is a One State solution, all the Palestinians in Gaza, the WB and in diaspora will become Israeli citizens. In short because of greed/lust for more land Israel will never now be a ‘Jewish’ state. Hopefully this influx of Palestinian-Israelis will turn the tables and revert Israel from becoming a religiously racist state.
2. Good luck selling that one to Arabs
Josh   (02.13.10)
An Arab would have to be blind to not see how many problems Palestinians pull on themselves to devastate their economy and if anyone thinks the Arabs love Palestinians, I guess a little history reading might be in order. What an idea?!
3. oh ho.. I can just see the enthusiasm of Israeli Arabs
swaping states...   (02.13.10)
well well.... tough days for Israeli Arabs... there's no excuse to say "no' to this one - they'll stay in their own houses on their own land, only be united with their brothers and sisters. What reason can they have to say no? beside the prospect of swaping a more or less free, democratic, more or less 1st world "jewish state" with the jungle like, violent, dictatorship that their Palestinian brothers and sisters created for themselves. hmmmm.... they said all these years what a horrible unjust state Israel is. Now is their chance to leave it! good luck to them!
4. Five wars and no solution
Sagi   (02.13.10)
and five more wars and still no solution. There are only two possible solutions two a conflict of ideologies or of territory. One of the sides wins in battle by total destruction and eventual capitulation of the foe. Alternately one of the sides gives in and bows down to the demands of the other side and then a compromise is negotiated. Israel has refused to defeat the Arabs in five wars and neither side is prepared to surrender to the demands of the other. Stalemate, death and destruction for 60 years. Only when the Arabs understand that there is one solution and one solution only will there be a settlement which will be advantageous to all parties concerned and to the world at large. That solution is transfer of land and redrawing of borders so that we disengage from each other to the maximum extent. Egypt will have to give up land all the way down to El Arish and we will have to give up land in the Negev and the West Bank will have to be compromised by both sides. There never will be any other solution and the time has come for all to look reality fair and square in the face and do what is right and correct for all concerned. "God" and "Allah" have no say in this matter, it is our problem and we have to solve it or continue to suffer indefinitately. The Arab Nations produce around 20 million barrels of oil a day, the revenue from one day alone, donated to a nascent Palestinian State would make it rich indeed and set it on the right path. Logic and pragmatism are called for, not emotions based on religion. Gaza could easily be a "Dubai" and Israel a "Singapore". Religion and emotions that evoke such hatred and vindictivness are preventing this from happening and in the meantime lives are devastated and dreams are shattered on both sides and surrounding neighbors use our plight as an excuse to engender and nurture terrorism and hatred when in reality they are only doing this to exercise control over their own people by feeding them with false notions about Israel and the Jews wanting to control the world. Feeble minds are easily warped and twisted and subdued. It is time, on both sides, that a popular leader, popular means representing the people and their wishes, comes to the forefront and takes a hold of the helm and steers the ship to a safe haven. If this does not happen soon, the ship, which is floundering just now, will plunge to the depths and meet up with Davy Jones and we the people, Palestinians and Israelis will all become flotsam and jetsam. This is reality, not warmongering and not the futile 'efforts'of "Quartets" and "Mitchells". These bore no fruit in the past and shall bear none in the future. Our destiny is in our own hands. We lack the leadership required.
5. Desire and Envy
Prince ,   Niger Delta, Nigeria   (02.13.10)
Israel's 1st world class status is what Matty Groves cannot yet absorb and how it attended such a status without natural resources is unimaginable to him. Moved with such an in-breeded ENVY seeks it destruction with vigour. Matty, settlement is not your problem but Envy, hatred and Malice against the Jews be a man own up to it. Matty Grove, If Palistine has Oil reserve as Iran will you ever advocate for or less dream of mentioning the word "one state"? Be honest dont hide your evil heart behind repeating the word Settlement as an excuse to be Anti-Semite.
6. Arab cities in Israel are ancient Canaanite towns
Nour ,   Palestine   (02.13.10)
They are not in breach of international law, nor are their inhabitants aggressive settlers who arrived in the 1990s on board 747s from New York and other distant planes. Ayalon's point that settlements posed no obstacle to the 2-state fallacy is absurd. He knows very well it is the central issue which shot down any prospect for a 2-state solution. Palestinian Arabs are not going anywhere and Tibi is right, whoever arrived here second can leave first. it's only logical anyway. I still see a massive Jewish emigration provoked by the fact that Iran will have The Bomb. Doesn't bother us...120 years of aggressive and violent Zionism did not deter us, why should a few Ayatollahs in a distant land make us abandon our land? Will not happen. Israeli Jews especially the Ashkenazim are strongly advised to start booking their flights!
7. WHAT A GREAT IDEA
izzie ,   USA   (02.13.10)
For all those palestinians who dream of a state and wnat to help build it this is their answer. And guess what no more fighting over nekba celabrations, singing hatikva, and on and on .. they would be free to express ti their national identity .. and best of all they get away from all those jews ... that should make them smile .. so bye bye guys enjoy the new digs ... and btw, if you need state of the art medical care, file for a visa ..or a college education, or a job ..and remember, you never know what you got until its gone

9. arrogance plus
Michael ,   Haifa   (02.13.10)
The man not only displayed his arrogance, as demonstrated towards the Turkish ambassador, but now tries to emulate his own arrogance by means of his stupidity
10. Solution long past due
Christopher ,   Boston, MASS   (02.13.10)
The Arabs that happen to live in Israel have remained a 5th column for many decades. They protest regularly carrying Palestinian flags. They condemn everything Jewish, even demanding Arab-only towns and that the Jews pay for a new Arab only city in the Galillee. Yet, when the Jews want to live in their own cities, they are called racists. The time has come to call the bluff of the Arabs and their leaders. They have wanted to live amongst their own, now is your ability. In return, the Jewish State need not support you, provide you with an infrastructure, educate your children, or finance your health facilities. The Palestinians receive enough money from the Eurabians to accomplish all that for you. Of course, here come the Arab MKs screaming and yelling how the "Jews once again are attacking Arabs and are showing their true racist colors."
11. is he Deputy FM of Beiteno or of Israel
observer   (02.13.10)
12. Nour
Matt   (02.13.10)
Don't show your ignorance. Arabs are not "canaanites" they are from ARABIA! Ask the Berbers of Morocco, the Maronites from Lebanon, or the Copts from Egypt and will tell you that their land was stolen and forcefully Arabized by Muslim Arabs. Even Palestinian Christians would say the same, if they had not fallen into the lies and propaganda of the PLO.
13. The one state solution is best
jason white ,   afula,israel   (02.13.10)
All of Israel should be one state for the Jews and our allies. The palis, Israeli arabs, lefists and hara-dim can go to another arab state and never return here.
14. why give ANY jewish land anyway?
docteur ,   france   (02.13.10)
jewish land stays jewish land.

That Ayalon and his goon party are part of any population transfer.
17. To # 13
Ringo ,   Rehovot, Israel   (02.13.10)
great, only one problem ,morons like you would then represent a larger propertion of the population.
18. #6 Nour
Raphael ,   Netanya   (02.13.10)
Why limit the link between Pals and forefathers to the Canaanites? Carmel caves are the oldest Neandertal site in the world. According to their usual behavior, Palestinian genealogy ends where mine started. Do you actually believe iranian nuclear radiations will stop at Qalandia checkpoint, like the Tchernobyl were supposed to stop at Soviet boundaries? A nuke on J'lem would doubtless turn also 1 million Pals into charred kebab: with friends like the mollahs, you do not need enemies.
19. Nour is again fantasizing
Yaron ,   USA   (02.13.10)
Nour darling.....all your arguements ignore the fact that the Pals are interlopers who should be glad the Israelis are a decent people. The difference between the Israelis and the Pals is the following (now follow closely ok?) 1. The Israelis have the capability to wipe the Pals from this planet 1000 times over BUT choose to be a civilized nation.....that is of course a conscious choice, 2. The Palestinians do not have the capability, but if they did, they would not waste a moment to "throw the Jews to the Sea" BUT are frustrated at this lack of operational capability manifested in a death cult society that celebrates death and backwardness. You and yours have caused a far more dispaportionate amount of pain and suffering relative to your numbers. Your national platform is built on the destruction of another nation and for that you will continue to be kicked around. When your overwhelmingly rejectionist attitude is NOT the mainstream line of thinking of the Palestinian platform, you will be deserving of an ounce of respect for your positions.
20. #12 Arabization of the Levant, get your facts right
Nour ,   Palestine   (02.13.10)
If anyone is exposing their stupidity it's you my dear. I suppose that "ALL Egyptian Muslims are also from Arabia and that when Egypt was conquered by the Muslims it was a big vacant land with the small exception of the Coptic christians? " Now that theory would fit well with your pea-sized brain. What about conversion - genuine or disguised to gain economic advantage? It's not something particular to the ME, but it's been observed throughout human history. Were we Arabized? Absolutely. The process of arabization started with the spread of Islam - either by word or by sword, and this is something that I will not deny. However, claiming that all Arabs of the Levant originated in Arabia is as dumb and ignorant as Sarah Palin. The Palestinian Arabs today are the descendants of Canaanites, Philistines, Israelites (even the Polish terrorist David Grun admitted this), Samaritans, Romans, Crusaders, Armenians, Arabs, Africans, and basically all other civilizations which once marked their presence here either through military domination, religious missions, or trading. But I got to give it to you - your myth is wildly entertaining. Thanks for a good laugh.
21. # 6 Nour
Sagi   (02.13.10)
I do not know if you are indeed Palestinian or some imposter who is on their side, This of course is your right. Your name, Nour, means light, but you live in darkness, in the darkness of hatred, hatred leads people to untold depths of indignity and madness, to dungeons and torture, to death and destruction, to inhumane acts against their fellow being. Perhaps you should reincarnate or metamorphose and change your name to Ihab and in turn your attitude might change. I am trying to be positive. With regard to the 747's. They simply brought sojourners home after a lenghty absence. How about returning all those with names such as El Turki, El Bagdahdi, El Masri, Hejazi, El Sudani, Halabi, Takriti etc. to the lands from whence they came, albeit not on a 747 but economy class on donkey or business class on the hump of a camel. Hatred never produced any positive outcome, love and understanding do tend to have a different result. Those who weilded the sword of hatred, throughout history, never died in bed. Wake up "Nour" and "enlighten" yourself.
22. How about Abdullah Hussein King of Jordan acknowledge an 80%
jae ,   Lynn US   (02.13.10)
majority of palestinians in his british empire's creation of a country. Instead of stripping them of citizenship after 60 years, he should strip his own "citizenship" and return to mecca where his family was plucked in 1920.
23. Judea (4000 year old Jewish ancestral homeland) is NOT4SALE
Jae ,   Lynn US   (02.13.10)
Arabs have already occupied dozens of countries outside of arabia. Enough already! Have your 22 countries and DO something with them. You dont need every tenth of one percent of land, especially if its land that is the jewosh peoples homeland for 4000 years.
24. Arabs dont want independence: They want to kill us
Ronny ,   Ramat gan   (02.13.10)
That's why they will always reject any reasonable plan based on partitioning the land. Its time to opt for Feiglin's solution.
25. # 21

Good post Sagi but alas its too late for Nour, she is too far gone.Hatred & deception run through her blood.

28. Any exchange of territory should be based on both size and..
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (02.13.10)
...use: Agriculture land for agricultural land; desert for desert and populated areas for populated areas. The Triangle and the Ara Valley are populated areas and are adjacent to the towns and villages of Samaria. Therefore, these areas should be part of the future Arab entity - autonomy, state, etc. - next to Israel while the Jewish populated regions in Samaria and Judea should be part of sovereign Israel. This in my opinion should start taking place at present time by moving the security fence and future border north of the Ara Valley and west of the Triangle and by so doing enabling the Arabs in these regions re-orient the center of their life towards Nablus and Ramallah, while at the same time the towns of Ariel, Upper Modiin, Givat Zeev, Ma'alah Adumim and Gush Etzrion continue to enhance their orientation towards Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
29. # 25 Birdi
Sagi   (02.13.10)
Blood ? I am sure it goes deeper than that. One day there will be revisal of the human genome and lo and behold a new gene will be found, peculiar only to those who are traceable all the way back to Mecca and Medina where it mutated somewhere around 1700 years ago.
